BLM campground, $25 for camp site, pit toilets, on river. Close to highway but fairly quiet at night.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We did not stay here because there is a sign stating that it is temporarily closed for renovations. It does not say when it will reopen.
Report Check-InComplete garbage. Go to the Wildlife Preservation Area near mount Shavano above Poncha Springs.
Report Check-InEXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS. The site has camp spots for tents and RV. I don’t see typical RV hookup (water electricity etc) .. has regular bathroom NO SHOWER ... cost for tent site is $25 - you can stay at a nearby RV site for less than this
Report Check-In10 dollar camping fee + 3 dollar per person for a day pass. For us it would be 16 dollar...we moved on.
Report Check-InReally beautiful campsites on the river. For pit toilets, go to the left when you enter and drive for a couple minutes. It does say $10 for camping but it’s a self pay station and doesn’t look very regulated...
