Description

Free river camp site at the dead end of a narrow street. Little 45 degree angle parking lot for about 10 cars. You could park in the riverbed, but don't know how dangerous that might be?

Nice lady, a little Japanese crazy, needed us to register to stay. It was a big deal for her. Free camping.

Lights go out at 22hrs. Toilet are drop, either Japanese style or Newlets (a special box probably with soap or perfume injected with a wand so you can manually jetwash your butt)

Toilet block is a bit industrial/communist/ film noir feel. Clean. There are communal 3-head cold showers for each sex. First time we've seen shower in a camping in Japan.

The camping boasts 3 shelters - kitchen sink, camp fire, and fire cooking. No shelter space available for tents. No grass only peagravel for tents. The river keeps the camp cool.
