Paradise, couldn’t get better! Multiple spots to camp, real toilets super clean, picnic table, kids playground, trails, waterfront, birds, lighthouse, beach (with rocks). I was difficult to leave this place

Très bel endroit où dormir. Il y a deux blocs de toilettes. Nous étions trois VR : 1 près du phare et 2 dans le stationnement de droit. Recommande fortement!

Endroit très agréable et sympathique pour passer la nuit. Le stationnement près du phare est permis. Tables à pique-nique, toilettes, sentier de marche et plage. Beaucoup de promeneurs locaux, tous sympathiques.

Beautiful location with very welcoming people. Camping only permitted in the lighthouse parking lot. Tight turn around for big rigs if other cars in the parking lot would be tight. This is a busy family park. Lovely water front. Nice play area. Mosquitoes but managed okay with Thermacell and bug spray. Do not camp outside the second park entrance sign. After the large cross memorial camping is permitted. We were told fines are issued if camping south of that area. Camped with 38’ class A but had to disconnect toad at one to turn around. Also places to camp on the road north of the large cross in the trees with easy access, picnic table and garbage cans. Suspect bugs would be nuts there without the ocean breeze and no fire.

Quiet night although it was steady stream of locals out for a drive until nightfall. The flushable toilets appear to be operational. The mosquitos are truly as bad as others have said.

Many nices sites to sleep. At the end of the road, they’re a no camping site on the left, but I don’t know if it’s the same for the right parking. We slept with 2 others vehicles and we had no problem. A lot of circulation but it was not this bad since the weather was bad.

What a great place to stay! Enjoyed a long walk along the beach. Boardwalk under construction but the beach is great as well.

Quel endroit magnifique éloigné de la route et pres de la mer..Vous etes en VR 100% autonome c’est parfait pour vous. Un arrêt dodo est possible partout sauf dans le stationnement au dernier stationnement où c’est indiqué interdit. Comme mentionné dans les commentaires précédents, les toilettes sont deguelasses et les bâtiments, passerelles et jeux pour enfants en piteux états.

What a beautiful place far from the road and near the sea. You are in a 100% autonomous VR, it's perfect for you. A sleep stop is possible everywhere except in the parking lot at the last parking lot where it is indicated prohibited. As mentioned in previous comments, the toilets are disgusting and the buildings, footbridges and games for children in poor condition.

Wonderful Place to stay a few nights. You can park in front of the Lighthouse or in one of the picnic places along the road.

A lot of people come to talk, it was really nice and beautiful to have some conversations.
We stay 2 nights on the island and can highly recommend to stay there.
The bugs a Crazy …

Encore un peu de moustiques en octobre mais super coin. Des locaux viennent tourner en soirée mais pas dérangé. Toilette sèche. Superbe endroit.

Absolutely wonderful! Great spot, water all around. Herons greeting us as soon as we cross the bridge. Two parking lots, 4 RVs and two campers on the other side but very quiet. Some locals come and go but not for long. They stay 5-10 minutes and leave…???

C’est vrai que la mer est belle et que l’on dort avec les vagues, mais il y a beaucoup de moustiques en soirée. Les toilettes sont des « bécosse » très mal entretenues. Le site est un peu à l’abandon. Ce ne fut pas une expérience plaisante pour nous.

Wow, what a spot! As described previously, really great. The boardwalk is closed (damage) but there are two different waterfront parking lots. Large rigs prob should keep to the left lot when they drive in (right lot is smaller). Tons of covered gazebos and picnic tables and benches, walking trails, ocean views, playground for the kids, pit toilets. Superb spot. It was windy and cool when I was here so no bugs.

what a fantastic place. we had no mosquitoes because of a moderate breeze. but you are in the maritimes, expect bugs. hurricane dorion destroyed the boardwalk. but still nice beach walking. steady traffic but no problems.

Absolutly beautiful place! We followed the road until the very end to the parking lot on the left side so we could park right next to the water with the washrooms not far away. There were no trees where we parked and the wind was strong so we hadn't had any problems with moquitos at all!
The sunset was absolutly gorgeous!

multiple lots to park on near the water! No no overnight parking signs. Pit toilets and change rooms. a few picnic tables and boardwalks to enjoy on the water. great spot to overnight camp. But make sure you bring bug spray, lots and lots of bug spray!!

People/cars come and leave for no specific reasons on a Saturday night. We didn't get bothered.

Stopped just for a visit and saw the big potential for free overnight. Really scenic with picnic spots that look like campsites. Would have stayed here if timing was good.

Y
