Right next to Mano Del Desierto you will see all sorts of dirt roads leading off into the desert. We followed one until we had a great view and were far enough from the highway it wouldn't bother us. Free but no amenities.

Nice spot in the middle of the desert, far enough from the highway. We didn't have to use our 4x4.
Report Check-InSpent one night here. We didn't go as far as the pinpoint suggested it, because it was getting harder to drive with our 2WD. We parked far enough from the road to avoid road noises and were partially hidden from the road. No one was there. Lots of wind during the day but it stops at night. Not too cold, but make sure you have some covers !
Report Check-InSpend a night here. Hidden from the road and easy to acces. But it was super windy, so for sure not protected for the wind. After sunset the wind went down. Beautiful sky during the night! Oh and no cell reception.
Report Check-InGood place for a night. Hidden from the road and protected from the wind. Signal phone: Movistar 3G, Claro no signal.
Buen lugar para una noche. Oculto de la ruta y protegido del viento. Con Movistar había 3G y con Claro no había señal.
Report Check-InThis place is great. We were hesitant of the roads coming out here. We’ve been stuck a few times and with a 2WD it looked daunting but the road all the way out to the pin was hard packed and totally doable in our van. It is secluded and very serene. Nothing out there but us! Plus close to the hand statue which is a plus.
Report Check-InWe spent a great night here alone not totally hidden from the road. Beautiful sky
Report Check-InGreat spot, we stayed 3 nights without seeing anybody. No trash. Beautiful sunset.
Report Check-InGood and quiet place for a day and night. No problem with a 2wd (we were there with our 30 year old VW bus). Very windy the first day but it calmed down at night.
Report Check-Inthere is no dry river bed, only hills and dips. not enough to find shelter from wind.
tough for tents when windy.
We camped 700 meters south of this point. There is a little riverbed to drive in and it was absolutely wind covered. Fantastic place for obernight!
Report Check-InA great campsite within a few minutes drive of the hand. We had a little wind which shielded the highway noise.
Report Check-InNice place, quiet night and beautiful views, as described. No problem getting here with 2WD.
