iOverlander cannot verify if wild camping is permitted at this location. It is your responsibility to verify local laws or obtain consent before staying the night.
Big gravel quarry set back from road. No signs forbidding entry or camping. Popular with overlanders. Good signal. Great cell service for AT&T and Verizon.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
agree with all. great spot with awesome cell service with at&t. Windy would be the only downside.
Report Check-InGood place to spend the night. Had beautiful mountain view, the road was pretty busy till midnight and very noticeable. Still slept well.
There is a hiking trail right across the street, Antler Ridge Trail which is a beautiful and steep hike into the mountain. Large paved parking lot without any sign from the road as the trail is planned to open summer 2024. You can still hike up and we enjoyed it very much.
No camping sign posted on the trailhead parking lot, pit toilet is there.
Still the same, large area with many options and little hidden spots around a gravel yard. Lots of camping activity here but the price is right
Report Check-InMuito bom o lugar, silencioso, vista para as montanhas, bastante espaço para estacionar, lugares para fazer fogueiras. Perfeito para passar uns dias e fica bem próximo do Denali.
Very good place, quiet, views of the mountains, plenty of space to park, places to make bonfires. Perfect for a few days and looks very close to Denali.

Report Check-InTerrific spot. Road noise is not bad when inside the car. Road in good condition for low clearance. Will be staying again.
Report Check-InLarge gravel pit. Google directions bring you in a smaller road, and there are options from that road. Drive further and you are in a wide open gravel pit, really now a big pile of dirt with a front loader parked by it. Definitely looks like it could be actively used, but not overnight.
Report Check-Instayed 2 nights. No signs forbidding entry or overnighting. other overlanders but no homeless locals.
Report Check-InWeird area with a lot of locals camping long term but I hardly saw anyone. A couple trucks, some generators running... Weird. Also there is a half broken "no trespassing" sign at the entrance. I did stay there for 2 nights anyway and didn't have any issues. There aren't a lot of options if you to stay close to the park and not be directly on the road...
Report Check-InRessemble à un ancien camping plusieurs roulotte de locaux installés mais personnes dedans.
Report Check-InWent here today and there were a few rigs set up and we were told this is private land so didn’t stay. Did go back over the bridge towards Denali and found a spot enough room for just one small RV or van
Report Check-InAs described. A little bit noisy but we had two good nights of sleep. Conviniently located to visit Denali. AT&T reception. We saw some no overnight camping sings in similar spots down the road to Denali, not sure how legal it is to overnight here.
Report Check-InMore space than we expected and far enough from highway to feel private. There's a gravel pit but no-one bothered us. Great open space to watch the Northern Lights!!
Report Check-InAmazing place to take even a big RV. Our small van could be placed in any spot. You could fit dozens of vehicle in here with room to spare.
Great place for Aurora viewing.
We stayed 4 nights as we explored Denali each day.
No amenities, but there is an RV park directly across the main road if you really need dump and water. Not sure what the cost of that would be though.
Report Check-InAs described below, a few hidden places with fireplaces, met some other overlander camping here as well. next to the road but quiet at night
Report Check-InGreat place and a lot of place for tonns of trailer/RV. A little bit to close on the street, so it's ok little bit noisy in night. But I am lucky that I could stay here
Report Check-InAs described, several places with fire rings, 50-100m beside the road, perfect location for free
Report Check-InVarious cosy (or exposed) spots around a gravel pit. Not visible from highway, 15km from Denali Park entrance. Easy access for all but the extremely huge rigs. Fire rings.
Report Check-InNice lot for van or tent. Close to Highway but not too loud. Small RV possible. Can be little windy
