Something not right?

Description

Behind the local sport facilities. Enjoy the gumtree shaded places. Packed sand, easy access for all rigs. We stayed for 3 nights. Free. Quiet and peaceful. Friday night some moderate youth music. On friday early afternoon when we arrived the local (veggies, second hand clothers, tacos) market just around the corner was about to close. If you need some water, walk 100 metres to the public square, enough watertaps there, but not always pressure. Before the second evening the police came. Friendly. They gave their telephone number in case of... Permission to camp was not an issue at all. The local dog family love flipflops, don't leave them outside (the shoes). Do leave your empty beercans just outside. Some elderly people collect them.

Beautiful, well maintained park with lots of trash cans available. We stopped for ~7mins at 4pm on a Thursday. Many water spigots all of which were turned off. A couple of these spigots had plastic switches that did not yield any water. bathrooms were locked. In the short time we were here two vehicles with fully tinted windows were circling the park slowing down each time they passed us. We waved and made our exit.

Grassy square with shaded areas, benches and water tap. Stopped here for shade to eat some lunch. All good!

Found a spot. Cops woke me up at 10:30 (I sleep early), broken to no English. Got thru to them it was just me (single petite woman) and my dog. They Escorted me to beside the police station, said it was safer for me to sleep there. They were very nice, looking out for my safety.

Stayed one night as a first stop in Baja on the way South.
Got there Sunday afternoon, there was a soccer game going on, so we hung out in Parque Central. Moved to our spot for dinner and evening.
Lots of loud music coming from cars hanging around until late. When music stops, you hear barking dogs in the distance.
Ok for one night.

Nice spot with lots of free range pregnant dogs. I am parked under the gum trees. Road was very muddy and rutted coming in but passable. Heavy rain last night is why. But no problem with 25 ft Class C and towed car.

Report Check-In

Arrived late afternoon Tuesday and kids were playing in the sports field and cars would drive by until late in the evening and some with loud music, but no problems whatsoever. At night dogs bark in the distance which is a bit annoying. Overall great for one night.

Easy access as dirt roads are pretty flat and very large, so no issue for our 28’ Class C.
