This is not a bad place for an overnight stay. It's only 200 m up from the road, wind-protected and out of view.

We arrived after dark, nice place indeed but not long after we had a policeman knocking on our door. According to him, it's a very dangerous spot. Someone of a nearby village called us in but in a way of being worried, not bothered. We were escorted to a town five mins further towards the south, approved by the popo, I also put it on iOverlander.
Report Check-InWe arrived pretty late, drove here and had a calm night at that place. Good located (no houses nearby) so we didn't bother anyone.
Report Check-InSimple place to camp for the night. Pretty well protected from the wind and from view. A few nice flat spots.
Report Check-InGreat spot for the night. If you're going south, the dirt road will be on your right hand side. Drive slow as you get closer so you don't miss it. If you're going north, the dirt road will be on your left side. Go up the small hill and you'll see plenty of flat space to park. You won't be seen from the main road. Free, a little windy, pretty sunset, and quiet for the most part. We recommend it.
Report Check-InNice place, a little windy because we went farther from the road close to quinoa fields.
Report Check-Inreally nice to stay overnight, street from la Paz to Uyuni in real good shape, partly newly done
