Beautiful lodge with amazing food. Currently no camping option but worth staying in the rooms.

Great for hiking, best coffee in the country and love their conservation efforts!

They will organise campsite spots after the rainy season; should be able to camp from March 2025

Although it is not possible to camp, for 40.000 kwatcha you can stay in their safari tent including breakfast. The tent itself is quite basic, but the lodge, the surroundings (hikes), coffee and breakfast is really worth it. You can join dinner: 12000 for only main course, 16.000 for three course menu.

Reception was not very nice. When we were told camping is not possible when we asked for camping spot. Confronted with information on iOverlander the reply was “we stopped it”. So no longer a camping spot!!

This place offers also camping. It is not suitable for big rigs. Owner Tim and staff are very friendly, toilets and shower nice and clean, food very tasty. You can hike.

Beautiful and well organised place! The Dutch managers are very friendly and helpful. We made a beautiful, well-marked jungle walk. The food was excellent! 10 usd pppn.

Great hospitality and superb walking trails through the rain forest. Awesome views

Lovely grassy camping area with a good functional ablution block and dish wash area. No power but they provide oil lamps. Beautifully situated on the edge of the forest. We did a really nice forest walk of 9km and got two special guides walking with us the whole way, Sella and Simba, the very sweet dogs of the owner. Friendly staff, we even got a welcoming home made ice tea. Very quiet at night. Recommended! Camping: $10pp.

Note: road conditions rainy season.
Coming from north, take the road just after Ngwata. Not the road from Benga (this turns into a motorbike track..). The beginning is good gravel, later more steep and muddy sections.
Leaving south: it’s gravel up to Dowa. From there to the M14 they are working on a tar road. The first 15km from the lodge is the worst section. We did it in the rain and fog and it was very slow going. Super slippery. After that it was way better (also in rain).

Small area for our truck but tent camping would be easy. Nice mountain jungle walks.
