Two beautiful spots at Good Hope Lake: one close to the water, the other a little higher in a hairpin. Each has a picnic table and a fire ring. Two small campers can fit next to the lake, one or two more a bit higher (but have to leave room for visitors to turn around). Clear turquoise water perfect for swimming.

Pretty spot but overcrowded even in late sept. Toilet has no door and faces the road. Plenty of bush cover though. Can only really fit 2 campers, one at lower and other at upper unless you are friends. Road is audible
Report Check-InReally amazing spot but couldn’t even get out of our car. 3 town dogs jumping and barking at the car. Decided to just leave and they chased us in the car all the way out of town… the lake was pretty but not worth possibly getting bit by a dog.
Report Check-InKeep this place clean. Locals did all to make a stay perfect. Location is superb
Report Check-InGreat Spot! Stayed here one night, bit windy overnight. Picnic table and small beach! Very clear water! Fire pit. Views of stunning mountains and lake! 10/10 recommend.
Report Check-InThis place is amazing! Relatively level spots, beautiful views, refreshing lake, a breeze to keep the bugs away. Stayed overnight and the full next day. Wanted to stay an extra night but places to be soon! The dogs loved it too. Met some friendly locals who came down for a midday swim.
Report Check-InCollected 5 bags with trash from this place. Please take your trash with you. Don't use the small trash bin as it fills up quickly. Let's keep this place clean so that everyone can enjoy it.
Report Check-InSuper cute place! We fit down it fine in our 23” decommissioned ambulance! The little gravel road down to the lake is easy to miss so keep a look out when you get close!
Report Check-InSpent last night here. Quiet, lovely Sandy beach, beautiful clear water and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. Nice place to spend the night in our truck house.
Report Check-InPicture perfect: in nice weather, the lake is like a mirror at sunset. Upon arrival, we were met by four water mammals (mother and three youngsters), who came by a few times over the afternoon. They looked like otters to us (not beavers).
It's a popular spot: no less than 4 overland vehicles and two parties of local people came by. They allowed us the spot closest to the water, while one vehicle took the upper spot.
We cleaned up a considerable amount of garbage (mainly out of one of the changing cabins). Few mosquitoes.
Report Check-InAmazing place ! We stayed here one night and went swimming next morning. Easy access, you can turn around at the bottom, we went down with our 28 ft skoolie !
Report Check-InAmazing views of the lake. Bathroom has a door off and it looks a little sketchy now but still a nice place to stop for the night.
Report Check-InDo Lunch break, beautiful place, we are 28 foot and it fits on the upper place well
Report Check-InSuper nice spot on the lake. You might be lucky enough to me some of the locals who look after the place. We met John when he came up in his canoe after midnight. Super nice guy. Would give you the shirt of his back.
Report Check-InBeautiful site next to the highway but quiet. Everything you need. We stayed with a truckcamper. Free!
Report Check-Inlovely place to spend a night or more. it's close to the highway but there is almost no traffic. it was a Friday and no parties or teens around. Beaver visited us 4x and the dog once. Clean pit toilet and changing rooms.
Report Check-InTwo big spots that can be shared, but not really leveled. Clean pit toilet and change rooms. Close to highway but nothing that bothered us.
Lake is amazing with its turquoise colors and surrounding mountains reflections. We saw two beavers (or one beaver twice) that were close. We swam to the platform.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot on Good Hope Lake, there’s a lower spot right at the water that could possibly fit a few smaller rigs but only one or two spots that are fairly level. There’s a upper spot slightly above the lake that could easily fit a bigger camper maybe up to 25ft long, but turn around space is limited. Lake is nice and clean, and garbage cans provided. Be sure to latch the lid closed as the wind can blow it off and blow the garbage around. We picked up some garbage after a storm to keep it nice and clean. There’s also two dogs that frequently visit this area, both are super friendly and seem to come down to say hi and get some free pets. Fairly confident they live in the houses across the road.
Report Check-InAs we are the only guests here, we can use a leveled place directly at the beach. Wonderful
Report Check-Inbeautiful spots, easily 2-3 small campers can fit on lower + upper level
Fireplace and picnic table by the beach.
You can hear the road but didnt bother us
beautiful place, lake limpid lived by few beavers, perfect beach for a fire wood
Report Check-InNice place but too much dogs barking at night. You cannot sleep well.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot on a tiny beach at good hope Lake. Clear turquoise water perfect for swimming. This place has two picnic tables and a fire ring. Two small campers can fit next to the lake.
