Description
Namibia's only UNESCO World Heritage Site (so far). Great rock carvings up to several thousand years old. Secured Parking. 250 NAD per person. They assign you to a guided group on arrival. Then you walk around for one hour and the Guide explains the Carvings at different Sites. Take Water, Sun Cream and sturdy Shoes with you. It was worth it. But the Dirt Track from Khorixas to Twyfelfontein was not easy (see iOverlander Warning).
