As described. Amazing views and very friendly people and atmosphere with good bar. Quite expensive as no electricity or braii pits and there aren't really any ablutions for camping, it's the backpackers kitchen and bathroom. Watch out for dog poo on the grass.

We stayed here for a night and had a lovely braai with the most amazing view! The spot is beautiful and the people are very friendly, you are allowed to camp pretty much anywhere on their premises. 200pp/pn but including breakfast and a towel :)we were the only campers there. Not suitable for big rigs.

To camp here now costs R300 per night for the site. The view is great but the backpackers kitchen which campers can use if they wish is a bit scruffy. The place is known for its homemade pizzas. They also have small timber cabins and rooms. The gas to heat the hot water for the showers ran out the 2nd morning we were there and the owner wasn't there to sort this out. Good for a one night stop

very nice place, not a lot of flat spots.
it could be windy because it's on a top of a hill but we had 2 good night's😊
good breakfast in the morning to start with.
amazing view to see the sunset.

R120 pppn
More of a rustic backpackers than a campsite. However they do have a grassy, reasonably flat area for a few campers.
There’s only one shower, so if there a few campers there, that could be an issue. However we were the only people there.
The view however is AMAZING... high up on the hills looks down at the sea. Also you get breakfast included eggs, bacon cooked to order.
Nice vibe here. No power at sites tho. And shower is a little way from the camping area.

Excellent place. Great value for money at 150R pp with breakfast (cereal and toast) included. Nice grassy area for camping with amazing view. Dorms and rooms also available. A kitchen to cook and wash up as well as braai area. Two lounge areas to relax in too, with DSTV so you won’t miss any sport action!

Report Check-In

Really enjoyed it here. The view is excellent. Nice facilities and very clean. Paid 150R each to camp. It’s also a hostel, but it has nice lounges and an ok kitchen. Breakfast is included and good. Free coffee and tea all day. We really enjoyed it. Stayed 2 days.

We found this place to be much as described by others listed here. Be aware that there is access for vehicles over 2.4m in height by approaching the place from the Seven Passes Road and Whites Road direction. It is therefore just OK for bigger rigs up to about 4 tonnes. The last part of the access track to the farm itself is quite steep and in rain cab slippery - no problem for 4x4s. The grass camping area has no shade or protection from onshore or offshore winds which can sometimes be strong. However the view is spectacular even if when we were there the kitchen area was not (none too clean and the drains blocked). Hang gliding and paragliding launch site close by.

Really great friendly and cheap. Away from everything, great grass locations for your van/truck or tent.
Easy and quiet.
Height restrictions on the road up to the farm, but I believe there is a back way entrance as well.

Nice place, as previously described. Our dog was not a problem here.

As described an okay place, still R120 pp

Real backpackers place. Camping more secondary thing but still best campsite I found on the coast so far. Fairly priced at 120 rand pppn, including very nice breakfast buffet and free tea and coffee all day. Ablutions are nice and clean, but to get the shower at a decent temperature is a challenge. it's either steaming hot or ice cold.
Nice vibe , friendly reception. View is spectacular, well worth the drive up the hill. Access road is an unassuming, bit hidden, steep hillside road with no signs and a 2.4 m height restriction.
Camping is on a stretch of grass with no electricity, taps or braais but these are all available near reception.

Really beautiful location and views
Now 120 rand pppn including breakfast
Some rooms available too but not sure of the price
