Water, power, braai, a place to do dishes, nice toilet and shower facilities. Sanddrif is the closest campsite to Wolfberg Cracks. To hike through the cracks the permit is 50 ZAR pp, to Wolfberg Arch 100 ZAR pp, to Maltese Cross 60 ZAR pp;

Report Check-Incampsite reopen but if you are after value for money go 9 km further down the road to kromrivier campsite. sanddrif has shared ablutions, no bar or restaurant, no wifi and less breeze for 250 pppn and kromrivier a bar and restaurant with the best cape Malay food we have had plus private ablutions at each campsite and wifi that even works down there. it's sat in a valley with a beautiful strong breeze too.

Nice, clean and professional Campground with 31 grassy sites in a very nice landscape. You get everything you need: electricity, water, clean restrooms, hot water. There were 8 other campers. Great hiking, e.g. Wolfberg Cracks and Arch Hike starts from the campground. No MTN signal, but wifi at the reception 1.5 km away. There you have to check in and get the permits for Wolfberg Arch or Maltese Cross. No fee therefor with a Wild Card. Camping ist 440 ZAR for 2 people, which is quite expensive.
Report Check-InA bit expensive if you're just 2 people. Price is 380 ZAR for up to 4 people. But this campsite is really excellent if it's not during holidays season. It was so peaceful, with only a few campers around, neat modern ablutions (although hot water wasn't working at men bathroom for whatever reason). You can have a swimming at the river right at the end of the camping area. Most spots have shaded trees. Nice views, lushy green lawn... we really enjoyed! Plus, there are many hiking trails to be done in the region. There's free wifi at reception (2,5km away). No Vodacom signal in the whole region.

Report Check-InThis campsite is right next to the incredible Cederberg vineyard, and to some of the most amazing walks in the local area (e.g. Wolfberg Cracks - not for the faint hearted!). It has a lovely family vibe (which also means it can get noisy) and the highlight is the access to the crystal clear river as well as the Malgaat swimming pond on hot days
Report Check-InNice green gras and some plots have shadow, but there is no privacy. Too expensive if you are just 2 pax. 320 R for the plot up to 4 pax.
Report Check-InNice green grassy shady sites, places for children to play, good proximity to trails and flowing river. No cell phone coverage, but that makes it feel like one is even closer to nature! Bathrooms are okay and in good working order with hot showers. Recommend this spot as a remote, yet quality base to explore the vast Cederberg.
Report Check-InCamping small and really close to neighbours but grassy and nice. Prices have gone up quite a lot since we paid 280 per camping per night and it will go up to 320 on February 2020...
the hike to the cracks costs now 70 per person.
If prices keep on rising at this pace let see what happens because it’s a pitty.
No signal with MTN, WiFi at the state reception (quite far from the camping)
All as has been presented earlier. Price ZAR 240 per night (2 persons, one tent). Make sure you being supplies. Excellent wines are sold at the estate. Annoying flies 2 hours before sunset. Matjoes river is lovely. No cell phone reception but free wifi at estate (3 km walk however).

Super green soft Gras. Lot of trees so one can find easily a shady spot.

We paid 220 ZAR for 2 people 1 night.

To hike through the cracks is free, but if you would like to continue to Wolfberg Arch the permit to the park costs 100 rand per person. The Arch is nice, but if we did it again we would only have done the Cracks that are free. No wifi.
140 rand for a camp site for up to 6 people. We shared a site with some friends and paid 70 rand per night.
