There is many options to be hidden from the road if you don’t fear scratches.
We heard nobody appart wildlife the night we spent there.

That is definetly part of the private community concession like everything around Moremi entrance (signs everywhere along main road). We tried to wildcamp in the area and got quickly spotted by a night Safari vehicle... They ratted us out and called the rangers without notice. So we had to leave and slept at the insanely expansive Kazikini Camp...
Be very careful when you wildcamp here because all those tracks leaving main road are used by those Safari vehicles even at night. Hide yourself really good !
Enjoy this insane area guys. So much wildlife!

A wonderful bush camp! Be aware that technically it's not allowed to wild camp as it's a conservancy... but if you arrive late and leave early it's highly likely no one will come through.
Tricky to spot the road but maps me has the correct one. Keep going for a while and the space opens up where you can find somewhere easily, we camped by the big tree. Be aware there's lots of wildlife around!! Please also be careful with fires if its dry and take ALL rubbish. We had elephant and impala around, and in the morning a male lion roaring far away and then suddenly RIGHT near the car! We saw him on the road out later as well as a leopard just after him, at the waterhole hidden under a bush. Great peaceful night

Great wild spot peacefull and with a lot of animals around but the only problem is that after sunset be carefull because you will be attacked by a lot of insects !

Report Check-In

Great location , only 5 giraffes tonight but peaceful night.

Report Check-In

As described before, perfect place for a night. We arrived when it was already dark, so we drove a short distance along the dirt trek and stayed directly next to it. Nobody around. An elephant and giraffes visited us in the morning.

We thought we can drive to Kwai along the moremi game reserve - its not possible without paying park fees. To reach Kwai without paying, you need to drive along the main street towards Mababe.

Report Check-In

Just find any empty patch next to the road, we went left nearer the big isolated tree. Giraffes deer elephants nearby but we were undisturbed.

Report Check-In

Quiet bushcamp 4 km before Moremi South Gate. This is a wide open area with plenty of animal tracks but no animals during our stay. Access is difficult to see and narrow between trees but after 50 m the track gets more visible. This is the best place to stay and explore the Black Pools and Xini Lagoon Area. When you leave the "main road" to Third Bridge tracks are getting narrow and winding and will be difficult with a big car. In late September it was very dry in the area with only few animals. No cell phone signal.

Report Check-In

excellent, saw elephants, zebras, giraffes, a huge herd of water buffalo, and in the morning lion tracks around the camp..

certainly difficult to find, maps.me has correct turn, go 50mrters and the tracks become more evident.

Report Check-In

We didn't find the small road mentioned, but turned off where there was some evidence of previous tire tracks and camped out of sight of the road behind a large bush. Elephant passed us in the night. Good location if you want to be close to the park, but maybe find another location which seems more frequently used.

absolutely fascinating place near the gate. Saw a herd of elephants a few kilometres before the turnoff.
during night only a few warthogs and impalas around.

Report Check-In

Passed a nice night in our RTT. We heard lions (?) in the distance but only saw warthogs near us. Good spot before/after Moremi.

Report Check-In

Nice option before the park. We were so happy, we saw a leopard in the sunset a few meters behind us passing by. In the darkness we saw a huge hyena walking around us. Ofc that is no guaratee, but for us it was a great place. It is possible for big rigs, but you have to look for a detour at the beginning, because of narrow trees and bushes.

Report Check-In

great spot. spent afternoon there, lots of impala around, could hear Elephant. owl came to check us out at dusk, and heard lion roar not too far away once sun went down.

Report Check-In

One of the best campsites we stayed in. We stayed two nights with a drive to the very expensive Third Bridge campsite in between. You are far enough from the main road to be hidden, but hardly anyone drives on the main road at night. We heard a Lion roar the first morning. On the morning of the second night we had Zebras and giraffes around us.

Report Check-In

great camp. lots of elephants, zebras and a couple giraffes. driving the path further is it's own game drive. lots of animal noises at night. hard to relax outside the truck once dark

Report Check-In

Perfect spot for bush camping! Sandy ground, some shade, lots of old wood that you can make a fire from, there was some leftovers of the fireplace from the people camping before us. On the way to campsite we meet elephants family. There was some giraffes walking around as well. But be aware! When we were collecting wood we heard lions roaring just next to us- really scary! We could hear elephants in the night walking nearby and crushing trees.

Very good place for a night. we stayd 2 night here. go very early in the Park approx 6am and come back late before 7pm. gate was open and no one around office door was closed.

Report Check-In

Truly a wild bush camp! Lots of animals around and so many animal sounds at night! Hidden. No cars passed on the track, only on the main road leading to South Gate. Highly recommend. Would even recommend leaving the park just to stay here if you only plan on exploring the southern part.

Be careful at night because of all the wild animals!

Report Check-In

Still a nice Place. We bushcamped here with three Cars. A lot of wild Animals around, a Hyena came as close as 5 m to our Campfire at Night! :) No Humans bothered us.

Report Check-In

A small road took off from the main road and along this road we found the place for our bush camp. After eating dinner we could hear the roar of a lion that must have been pretty close by, but we never saw it.
