Description
Trucks stop but some cars stop some pass. My fiend went for check coz wants to be safe. We ask the police, they said we should stop but when we ask why some people don't stop they didn't answer us. There are many checkpoints in east part of iquique and Arica, we try to stop at all of them but some of them don't care. Really don't know what's the point...

We got caught in a snow storm (end Jan) and decided to stop here for the night. Very friendly police, we were allowed to use their clean facilities and they offered us hot water. Mi Casa su Casa.
