Boondocking at Walmart. Near to Blue Ridge Parkway. Loud in the late evening.

No overnight parking signs in all the parking lots around this Walmart.
Report Check-InThere are signs everywhere now saying no overnight parking. I wasn't going to take the chance
Report Check-InI agree with the previous poster.
This town is madness. The downtown area was cute but I was also hoping for a more intimate mountain town. It’s fine if you need to stock up on a few things.
Walmart is too noisy around the clock, Cracker Barrel looked like they had a better lot but, I didn’t stay.
Below average Walmart, small lot and nowhere to get away from shopper traffic. I thought Boone would be a cool little mountain town, but I found it to be a 6pm traffic nightmare with too much people and stuff crammed in a little valley. If you are stopping for the night while driving the Parkway Is check out Blowing Rock and skip the trip into Boone.
Report Check-InWeird Walmart but quiet night. Parked just at the end of the parking lot, no issues. Cars do like to shop late here it seems so some road noise.
Report Check-Inthey still allow overnight parking. technically only for one night, but if you park all the way in the back in front of the restaurant puerto nuevo & keep a low profile i'm sure you can stay longer. shop 24h open.
