Dense, expansive network of forest service roads with endless options for free dispersed camping; make sure you have enough water-- quite hot/dry in August

Pretty cool road with some spots to camp about 3 miles in on a dirt road. What any of these reviews have failed to mention is that there is a correctional facility right at the entrance to the dirt road. It kind of freaked me out but we stayed anyway but figured I should put that in there. We rolled in about 11 PM and saw that sign and definitely felt a little bit freaked out ha ha. Super quiet no traffic
Report Check-InIf you want service or a view of the Cascades, don't follow the GPS pin all the way. It will lead you into a valley with neither of those. There are plenty of spots with service and a view around here however. I will mark one.
Report Check-InOn top of a small Butte. Overlooking the Cascade mountains. Beautiful sunsets.
Report Check-InI didn’t stay in this exact spot because the road was pretty rutted out in all sorts of weird patterns and I was bottoming out. Maybe the dirt will even put over time, idk. I stayed on the main road and went down a little ways until I found a suitable pullout. It was very quiet and peaceful And I had a few bars of Verizon cell signal. . Two vehicles drove by the next day in the late morning and that was it. I added a few photos of the views in this area.
