Camping Rio Pipo is far away from here, but just after the Park Gate!

Report Check-In

confirmed, no tents. Same day laundry. A bit loud by the building at night. But could get WiFi and power next to common room. May try down by the river tonight. Everything else is as described.

Report Check-In

the place is open for the 2016/17 saison again, approx. until end of feb. We stayed here from 21.12. until 26.12.2016 an had a nice christmas party with many overlanders in a big heated room. Good clean hot showers, average wifi, laundry service with dryer for 130 pes. per load. We paid 350pes. per day, for two peoples and a motorhome.

Friendly Owner, speaks english.

Finished for the season, sadly.

Report Check-In

Well equipped and well maintained campsite with 24h hot showers and community room with heating. Has announced to close on March 10, 2016 forever after having been operational for 24 years, although we also heard they don't have the license yet for their new building plans. Friendly staff. Walking distance from large supermarket and snowcapped mountain view. Spaces under trees and open spaces. Expensive: ARS 260 (2 adults, camper)

Report Check-In

We really enjoyed this place. It has great hot showers, good wifi, a very large heated communal room and big kitchen. Feels like you have a whole restaurant to yourself! The owner, Sergio and his family are really nice. There's a large beautiful forest with good wind protection, and a nice river; although people who want to be close to facilities, electricity, water etc usually just park around the building. They offer laundry at 100pesos per load and also change money at a pretty good rate (14 for dollars when we were there. Higher thank bank rate). Camping is 130pP. Pricey but good to relax for a bit at the end of the road. So sad it's likely the last season since they're selling the grounds to developers. Fyi they're only allowing vehicle camping, no tents.

Report Check-In

Friendly and helpful owner, speaks english. Everything is a little bit old, but clean. The Wifi was not very fast, when we were there. Big kitchen to be used by the guests. Warm recreation room. Laundry-service (100 Pesos for one machine / ~ 4-5 kg). Good place to charge and refill everything (and have a hot shower!!) after a long time of wild camping!

Report Check-In

Great people running the place. Good Wifi, electric, and clean. There was some celebration Christmas but maybe not like in the past times.

Report Check-In

correction to the post below: camping price is AR $130 per person per night, not a total of AR $130 for two people as we originally understood.

Report Check-In

Despite all the comments below, this place isn't closed. Luckily, we had a leaflet put under our windscreen in Ushuaia just whilst we were looking for somewhere to park our truck during our Antarctica cruise. The camp definitely looks a bit worse for wear and needs a bit of maintenance. There is no sign from the road, but the owner Sergiois very friendly, speaks some English. Camping for truck & 2 people AR $130pn (incl electric & good wifi). Parking truck is AR$ 80 per day. Laundry AR$ 100 for a very large bag full.

Report Check-In

Open again! Owner left a flyer on our camper while at the market. He says he will be open for one more season for motorhomes only. 24 hr. hot water showers, laundry service, potable water, electrical and fast WiFi. Only camping in available in Ushuaia.

Report Check-In

Wood stove keeps the common area cozy. Hot showers, use of the big commercial kitchen and strong wifi signal makes this a great place to spend a few days and celebrate your arrival in Ushuaia.

Report Check-In

Nice place with lots of land to park with huge common room. Bad news is it is closing permanently to campers in 20 days. 100 pesos a person. Closing for good March 1, 2015.

Report Check-In

Camping spot in between the National Park and town. Good place to leave your vehicle if you are going to Antartica or elsewhere. 100 pesos per person, 50 for children. We paid 250 pesos. 60 pesos a day to park your vehicle if leaving it. Friendly owners.

Report Check-In

Very nice place. Wifi was pretty good too. Only downside for us was that we were in the process of selling our van to people who flew in and met us and they were not allowed to camp next to our van in a tent. No tent camping whatsoever is allowed.

Report Check-In

200 Pesos per day. No tent allowed. Campground only one more year open.

Report Check-In

Wonderful place to get all that you need. Hot showers, full kitchen available to campers, wifi, laundry service, small bar, indoor hangout room with fireplace, accommodates large vehicles, and they even brought in a mechanic to assist all who needed various repairs and oil changes!

Report Check-In
