Extremely nice sites. We were in site 150. Late self-check-in is available if you don't have a reservation. Nice clean bathrooms with free showers. The sites are private with woods everywhere, and our site was pretty level. It was quiet and relaxing. easy to get to right off the ferry. Lots of trails and access to the beach.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great camp near beach $35 site $10 firewood. Very clean hot showers
Report Check-Inbeautiful park, large campsites. close walk to the ocean and lots of trails.
Report Check-InFor those needing starlink signal: sites 193/194 have a decent clear North sky, but not ideal. Otherwise treed in. You can park in parking lot #1 during the day for a good connection though
Report Check-InGreat campsite with a short path down to the beach. Lots of space between sites.
Report Check-In5$coin dump station

Park is open in the off season (from Oct 30). if you come late in the year it is shelf check in. showers are avail until off season. you can drive right in and just use the shower if needed. $35 reg price or $12.50 off season.

Report Check-InWalk in site 22 CAD
Not too big but good
Without cars so less noisy
Seems quiet in late September
We are in site 224. We needed the sun for our solar and the wonderful attendant at the checkin booth gave us this one! No reservation needed. $35 CD
Report Check-InLoved it ! Situated in a beautiful woodland, right on the coast overlooking the straight of Georgia. Facilities were decent, pitches were a good size. I turned out without a reservation after checking the BC parks website, no issues, super friendly staff. I recommend taking a sunset walk down the beach.
35$/nuit
Report Check-InReasonable rates for large and private spaces, 35$ per night. Warm showers, drinking water at several separate water taps around the park. There are beautiful trails around and the beach is very close as well. Buy firewood at the general store at the top of the road instead of buying it from the park operator - our firewood was wet and annoying to get burning, and we heard the same from many other campers. The wood from the general store was perfectly dry.
Report Check-InAbsolutely beautiful.
gorgeous trails, oceanside.
spacious private lots.
$13/night winter rates.
There is a $5.00 sanidump. 5 loonies opens the valve. flush an potable water are available depending on the temperature. (too cold..no deal)
Absolutely a beautiful campground on the east coast of the Island in Parksville. no amenities at camp spot, but Sani dump is open and you can fill up with potable water there. very nice pit toilets. winter season rates $13 plus tax, self check in. Bring your own firewood.
Report Check-Inwinter camping $13 & showers are closed. still an excellent spot for a few nights
Report Check-InWhat a beautiful place, we wanted to explore the free spot around and we decided to come here!
One of the prettiest campground that we visit, 35$/night , no service first come first serve , good space between sites, dump station(5$) free shower and clean bathroom
Try to get site #14 a “sea view “
Nice beach
Report Check-InI have to say this is one of the best campgrounds we have been , huge sites with privacy , next to the beach, fire pit , we came late night end of Sep, some of the sites are closed for the season , but still quite a few sites are open, mostly are occupied !
Report Check-Incampground is currently open despite Google saying it's not.
potable water at the sani-dump is also turned on.
Large Prov Park on Vancouver Island. Canadian Seniors are half price from May to June 15. Nice staff. Bathrooms very clean
Report Check-InYou get what you pay for literally. Good location, good size sites where you almost feel in the wilderness. close to beach, clean bathrooms and showers
Report Check-Inlarge campground with beautiful sites in the provincial park. pulled in around 7pm and still lots of sites available. with it being late may, it cost 35$. free showers, running water, pit toilets in some loops and the sites are beautiful with lots of space between sites. huge campground so it was a bit loud with families but it got quiet at night.
Report Check-InThis place is very fine. I pay by self registraion 13 $ . in the season, he is full. on November see quiet but without service
Report Check-InBeautiful setting, clean campsites, good for small RV, individual fire + picnic table, in the forest almost by the water. They have winter rates as well, 13$/night. Beautiful
Report Check-InThis is Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park and not Rathtrevor Beach Dump&Water.
We are on site 223 with no services and $35.00 Cdn.
This part of the park looks like converted parking lots.
We are in open space on a gravel site.
Much better in a Walmart parking lot.
