Latest Check-Ins

We were skeptical of a free site on a Saturday night in January, but it was great! Everyone was quiet by midnight, no dogs barking, very chill. Don’t park tooooo close to the river, looks like it floods once in awhile. Some nice private spots off to the right side. Bring some firewood, it’s a nice place for a campfire! We didn’t see any toilets or showers.

I spent two wonderful days here. Absolutely calm. Once the police came by, checked the scene and drove on to me with a smile.

Beautiful and FREE spots right next to a river. Fogones. Trash bins. Has a little store with basic stuff. Shade and wind-protected spots. Toilets but no shower. WIFI available at the store but we didn't use it. We had Movistar 4G signal.

No dogs barking last night. Best sleep ever.

The best place you'll find in Neuquén. Google maps shows other street. You need to get to calle 11 by RN 7 and follow that road until the end. The facilities are excellent, bathrooms, showers, barbecues by the river, small grosery store and parilla restaurant and fast food opened only during weekends. The owner is a very friendly and helpful man.

Very calm spot (on weekdays, probably not on weekends).
Spent 2 nights here, only a few cars came in the evening, probably for some love making.
There are electric plugs and the place is very well lit and well maintained. Didn’t see too much garbage around.
Beautiful Neuquen river is just beside you.
Didn’t use the toilets in the shop, which was open during the day until 19:30h.
Free!

Nice spot for a night or two. We were all alone end of march. We didn’t check out the facilities, I think the restaurant was closed.

Free camping right by the river! Very nice spot, gets crowded during the day with picknickers. On a saturday night there were maybe 10 people camping. You only have to pay to use the toilets, though there is also a free dixy toilet. Water (non-potable) available. No showers (at least we did not see any) but you can wash in the river. Very nice owner who runs a restaurant on site. The place is on calle 11 (as you can guess by the name), even though the location on the map looks like it would be calle 12, you can only access it via calle 11. See photo for the sign on the main road.
