The Blackhawk Loop says no RV's-tents only on signage and on the website. Saw a lot of Sprinter types using it ...

large private sites. for SUV tent not so great as parking barrier prevents backing into tent area. showers questionable if clean but adequate. dish washing station available. walking and biking trails available.

Good place. Has showers. Quiet. Friendly hosts. Worth the stay!

Great campground. They say no RVs allowed in Blacktail Hawk loop including vans but we saw vans (Promaster, Sprinter, Transit) up there multiple times. I would suggest not asking and coming in after the office is closed. We wanted to but made the mistake of asking. We weren't about to get others kicked out so we didn't say anything but it was annoying. Bathrooms were fine, showers sprayed water out so the floor was always wet. Verizon service was great. About a 30 minute drive to most Sedona hikes and has much less traffic than Sedona area. Much nicer than fighting for space in nearby free USFS campgrounds.

Loved it. Nice, fairly private sites. Lots of trails to hike. Star link worked.

Older state park. Nicely spaced spots. Bathroom had hot showers. Stalls were stained with dirt, but clean. electrical outlet was working , so I could use my hairdryer. They have recycling bins here for aluminum and clean plastics. Hook ups were functional with water and electrical had 20, 30,50 amp outlets.

Quiet and picturesque with nature trees and hookups. The nearby day use area has a nice lake for fishing and a fun & unique playground for the family. We arrived after closing and found a spot no problem.
