Something not right?

Description

Still a lot of work to be done, but you can find a nice place with electricity, water and braai. A nice touch is a light bulb in the chimney of the braai. So you can see that it is your own meat and not a cat ;-o
Price:N$120 pp including the view on Angola (if trees would be cut)
We where the only campers and there where a few lodges/room occupied.
A good touch with the taps of the showers and you will get nice hot water. Hot tap not always hot and cold not always cold :-)

Cheapest camp we paid in one month in Namibia for 2 adults and 1 kid( free) : 240nad. We were alone at campsite. Green grass. Close to city of rundu . Nice walk in abt 1/2 km from camp to the river facing Angola. Well equipped. Showers and toilet Ok. Wifi at the reception. Few mosquitoes. Overall good campsite except for one major issue : nightclub just next door having insanely loud music (on a Wednesday) so you can’t sleep.

120 nad pppn. Shared ablutions (no hot water so we used the facilities for the workers). Sheltered area with sink and bench. All looks pretty old but for the price we were happy enough. Good for a one night stop over

Report Check-In

nice place, but not well maintained ablution block, internet not working, 120pppn, not for big rigs

A nice and relaxing place. Near to the main road (the others further to the river is sandy road). Price for the cheapest lodge (fan room) is $275 for one person (I'm alone) but could be pretty warm during summer. Wifi worked well for rooms near the reception. The camping area looks nice with sheltered place for cooking and eating for each camp spot.

Price have gone up to N$181 pp - campsite not so attractive so did not stay and went 2km down thenroad for half price.

Still undergoing renovations so pretty unkempt place. But we took a nice spot on the grass which had power, water and a light that could be turned off (in fact all the campsite lights could be turned off!) Shower was terrible (water kept switching off) and there was music playing quite late. But it was OK for a night. They should really reduce the price from 100N$ a night per person. Cat friendly but there were lots of stray around.

Report Check-In

Campsite is undergoing construction work, upgrading the power/lighting. With a little bit of searching we found a nice spot where the light and power outlet worked. Toilets needed a good clean, but 100 pppn and close to town.so not a bad place to stop for 1 night
