Chile
One of the many campgrounds in the vicinity of Salto de Laja. Beautiful site on the river. Very quiet but we were off season. CLP 2'000 per person, probably higher during high season. Cold water in showers. Hot water is available during high season only. Grills and sinks to wash dishes, electricity at sites and fast Internet.
In november the price is CLP 5000 per person.
In january it is CLP 8000 for adults, hot water for around 30s then cold.

Quiet campsite with benches and electricity on site. Soil is sandy. 10,000pp
Report Check-InWauw amazing place!! Clean bathrooms and toilet.
Many locals in the weekend but no load music. Swimming in the river is possible.
We paid 5000 pesos per person
Very clean place. Hot showers, electricity and a clean river to swim in. Very friendly owner.
Report Check-Inbeautiful campground at the river. 5000 per person. The showers are cold (the woman told instead they are hot), no wifi.
Report Check-In8000pp toilets and showers look updated, hot water. also went swimming in the water. busy during the day with locals having picnics (we were here on a Sunday)
Report Check-InConfirming the info below, price is 8000 for adults and 4000 for kids. You can also just pay half of that for a daily picnic (I think that is what locals do), they have grills and tables on the camping spots
Report Check-InDefinitely not for big rigs. We were not permitted to cross the bridge to the main camping area. However, the grassy area before the bridge was very nice - shaded and quiet We had electricity but no water on our side of the brdge. Bathrooms are old. 16000 pesos per night for two people and the camper.
Report Check-Inbeautiful and peaceful camping on an island, parked my campervan right next to the river. you can walk to the top of the waterfall. bathrooms / showers could use a renovation, but they work fine and there is hot water. i paid CLP 6.000 for 1 person / 1 night with a campervan
Report Check-InLocals come here to picnic. There was one camper besides ours.
The ground is flat, with loads of shadow. Perfect in the heat. The price is still 5k pp.
Nice big campground, for big rig place only at the entrence for the low hanging electricity cables. Small walk to the Salto Chico - imposant too! Calm at night, friendly
Report Check-Invery nice campsite by the river with hot shower, electricity and flat areas shaded by trees. it was fairly busy end of November, probably very busy during high season.
the owners are not particularly nice.
we paid 3k pp/night and stayed two nights
Very nice camp. It costs 4.000 pp per night but very nice spot, near the waterfalls. Clean toilet and showers. Hot shower even during the night. They also have a small shop where you can buy water or simple things for cooking. Many grills and tables. You can have just a picnic here (costs 3.000). Also you can do your laundry here. They have a washing machine for 1.000.
Report Check-InA beautiful campground right on the river and only a 10 minute walk to the waterfall. 3,000 per person during low season. Very quiet and peaceful midweek but very busy apparently on weekends.
Report Check-InThe price increased to 3,000 pesos per person
O preço aumentou para 3.000 pesos por pessoa
This was the only camping we found open in early November and it's great. For 3 nights we enjoyed being the only people here, camping near the river, with small grocery stores on the main road to buy food. Campsite has a grill, picnic table and some have fire pits. Paid 2000 CLP PP.
Report Check-InVery large. Very dusty. Very noisy. Small sites close to each other. Don't come near this place on a weekend if you want peace and quiet. Bathrooms in a dreadful state...way to small for this size camp. Please consider any of the other options before this one.
Report Check-InThis place was really crowded for the weekend, however, we were given full freedom in search of a suitable site — and found one right by the river. $ 2500 per person (we needed no power). Toilet block is ok. 500m downstream is the first of a series of waterfalls. A pleasant walk rewarded by a fine view. The highlight is the "real" Salto del Laja tat can be seen from the road and where all the hoo-hah is. Would stay again.
