A almost perfect camp! 2kms away from noisy highway, large and clean lake, one table, improvised firepits, level space for many campers, shady trees, access on good, narrow gravel road, really quiet, not a busy space for weekenders.

I basically wish I didn't come down here, i read so many of these I forgot what someone said about bugs and leeches with my driving brain. at first it seems perfect and amazing but I didn't even bother getting out and left. the car was in a gnat vortex without even getting out. only go when it's not bug season, or if you love gnats.
Report Check-InGreat campsite at the shore of Heart Lake. Quiet, easy access, few rubbish. Nice place for sunset.
Report Check-InThis could be a great spot if it weren't for the terrible bugs. We were greeted at our 8pm arrival with swarms of large black flies and gnats. In the middle of the night their shift ended and the graveyard shift of mosquitoes began. We left in the morning before the locusts and frogs arrived.
Report Check-InThere was a sign „no trespassing“. Not quiet sure if it‘s also for the way to the Camp or just for the other road.
Report Check-InNice place to stay, very quiet. I wouldn't recommend to swimm here. if I see it right, I see leeches in the lake.
at my time there were many bugs and waste around the sites.
