Report Check-In

Gate was closed and they add signs everywhere for "no camping". We didn't stay.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful place in Savona area.
Parking with some space for many van or cars. Just by the river and surrounded by mountains. Calm place, only the train make some noise during the day and the night.
We stayed here 1 night and had no problems.

Report Check-In

As described. Bumpy road getting but go to end. Occasional trains.

Report Check-In

very pretty indeed! but roud is a little rough down there, and no pit toilets whatsoever! nature is your only pit toilet here...;)

Report Check-In

Un petit coin bien caché, sur le bord de la rivière Thompson avec comme vue des trains (un peu de bruit quand même) et des aigles..

First experience using Overlander.
Stayed one night. Was as described. Beautiful spot by the river. Great to have a swim in as 35 degrees outside (beware of currents).
No trouble whatsoever. Local fisherman we chatted to there said they rarely check.
Would recommend.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, with a small lagoon. Mosquitoes were biting and lots of birds. The down side of this little hideaway is the constant stereo train noise. Both CN and CP rails have double tracks on either side of the Thompson river and when we were there, the trains came through non-stop, throughout the afternoon and the night. It kept waking us up. Do not camp here if you're a light sleeper or bothered by sounds at night. Otherwise, nice private spot and although there is a gate and the sign says closed from 10pm till 8 am, it wasn't enforced. No services.

Beautiful views of the mountains, fish jumping and mountain sheep on the hills. Stayed here for a night it was nice.
