Perfect for one night before or after visiting salt cathédral. Safe. Of for big rig but it’s in the end of parking.

Spent one night here and then went to the Salt Cathedral the next morning. Nice clean bathrooms, wifi, quiet and short walk down the hill and into town. Running water in bathrooms. No electrical plug available. We paid 9000 for the night and 9000 for the next day. The bus parking lot is far superior to the car parking lot up the hill because the bus lot is flat. You may need to pay up the hill and then have one of the parking attendance take you down to the bus lot if you are visiting on a weekday.

You never really know with parking lot parking, but this ended up being a great experience. We arrived early on the Sunday before Christmas. By nighttime, every parking spot was taken. So I’m glad we arrived when we did. 8,000 COP to park with no additional camping fee. Bathrooms are right there in the parking lot. They are being renovated right now, so men and women are sharing. There were lots of curious people who came by the vehicle to chat, all kind and friendly. But after the Catedral closed, it was surprisingly quiet all night. We did tour the Catedral de Sal. It is touristy, but we’d never seen anything like it. Quite the architectural achievement.

Paid 8000 Cop for 24hrs, the security was very friendly at the lower parking lot. Good open wifi from Parque de La Sal. Beautiful view from the city.

very convinient to be on the first tour of catedral de sal.
at the very end of the parking, where is more easy to level there is even a warer tap that we would able to use to fill our water tank. only need a tool to open it.

Paid 10,000 (5,000 per day) to park overnight. It was mostly quiet, a few locals store their vans overnight and there was intermittent motor traffic to overlook the town. It was difficult to level so we just parked in the very back against the curb. The bathrooms up the stairs were open by 7:30am and are nice.
