Description

Large flat area just past a very old church at the end of the city (north west). Overlooking the beautiful valley. 10 minutes walk to the center of the village. Very quiet. Superb sunset!!

Quaint town on the other side of the tunnel. Former mining town, popular with Mexican tourists

Report Check-In

We spent 12 nights at this spot. We loved it. This is a free place to park and spend the night. Very safe. There are toilets for 5 pesos all around the village and you can get water from a public tap in a building next to the land. No wifi, no electricity, just an awesome spot for wild camping. However, now they are building a hotel and this might not be available any more. Lovely spot to spend a few says. We loved it here, specially the sunsets!!

Stayed here on Christmas Eve. Great free spot to park and stay. You do have to drive through the village which may be tough with a larger vehicle (anything bigger than a mid sized pick-up)
