before the season but we could stand on a nice sunny place with super view. no electricity on that place and only cold water as is camping is officially closed. wifi at the hotel. 20.000 pp

Report Check-In

The asked 10.000 per person for two people and a small van. We said that it was very expensive and then they offered us a private room with bathroom ensuite and a small porch with a table and two chairs for the same price. Wifi was okay.

Tried to stay on the 1st of November. Camping was closed.

Such a nice place, great views! Only three other cars in February, calm. Steep access road and not very level. 7.000 per adult and 2.000 for our four year old, the van was free. WiFi in front of the reception was flaky at first, when we told them they restarted the router and all was fine.

Report Check-In

We came in car with a rooftop tent and found it a bit difficult to find a flat spot. Almost all spots are in the shade and the trees makes it difficult to really see the view. There are almost no tables. Instead we asked if we could park next to one of the cabanas and that gave us amazing views. WiFi at the reception was fast. We were woken at 8:30 by them cutting up trees which was a bit annoying. Otherwise nice and quiet place. We payed 7000 pp.

amazing camping overlooking the lake and volcano. 5000 pn for 1 person, nobody else here

Lovely campsite - easy to find thx to iOverlander - camping opens October - so we were offered a Cabin with balcony instead & best view on whole site- Volcano + Lake + Town - thx to Sara at Reception. Can't comment on Camping facilities - Cabin great - WiFi fast. All very clean. 30.000 CLP Price for 2 people including breakfast at onsite Restaurant.

Payed 7000 Pesos p.P. after negotiation (8000 was the first offer). Stayed there with a small van. Was hard to find a leveled spot, so used some wood which was laying around. They offer breakfast and cakes in the restaurant.

Nice camping up on a hill overlooking the lake. We tried 3 other camp spots on New Year's Day and they were all full of people except this one. We had the place to ourselves. Good hot showers all day long, BBQ grill and tables. Very nice people, a little expensive but not for the area and time of year and what you get.

Report Check-In

really nice place and friendly people, just to say when we used Waze as navigator it tried to take us to the road above it but you have to access from the road below.

Great Camping with a clean banos and a beautiful view over the sea and to the Vulkan Villarrica. For big rigs IT is a little bit dificil to find a place which is plan so that you can stay flat. Wifi works not at the beginning but after I talked to the owner and called here to restart the router it works fast and very well. 10.000 CLP for 2 Persons and ower Casa rolando.

Good location near to Panguipulli, nice views over the lake and of the volcano. Really friendly and helpful owner who speaks English. Nice flat pitches with barbecue pits and tables. Initial connection problems with the WiFi, but thereafter it was decent and we managed to back up over 300 photos to Dropbox over our 2 nights. Excellent 24 hour hot showers and the bathrooms are kept very clean. Electricity also available around the bathroom block. I think we paid 8,000 pesos per person per night. I would highly recommend it if you're planning on staying in the area.

Nice campsite, run by the same owner as the cabanas. Toilets and showers in small, clean building. Firepits and bbqs. Water on sites, no electricity. There are lots of trees, so entering with a small van is challenging. There is only one spot for big rigs: right in front of the reception building. That spot has the best view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Great wifi. We paid 10.000 peso for a small campervan and two crew. Apart from one other van we had the place to ourselves. Very friendly owner. The price is higher for Chilean citizens: foreigners pay no tax.

Very good campground. Nice showers and fast wifi. There is a sign that says No Mascotas, but we showed up with our 3 dogs and discussed it with Sara, who is very nice, and she said we could stay there with our dogs. They have 2 old dogs, one of which previous campers abandoned there, and that is why she told me they do not want pets. If looking for a camp where you can bring your dogs, I suggest showing up and discussing it with her.

A nice night in our first paid private camp-site of the trip. We were recommended because of the fast WiFi (seemed a bit choppy to us) and the hot showers (which were lovely). Not much space for Campervans and Motorhomes.

Peaceful place. Road is unpaved and steep last 500m. Nice view of volcano is the highlight. Sites don't have power but there is a point on the deck.

Lovely place to stay! Paid 5,000 pesos per adult (and 3,000 pesos for our 6 year old son) to camp in our van. Met other overlanders here. Highly recommended!
