It is a quiet excellent Campground near a lake. It is close to the 120 to yosemite.

take note: in the winter (Sept - end of March) you can't swim, boat let dogs swim, etc in the water.
another note, sites with no electric but with water are considered "sites with hookups" and so are $60--same price as full hookups.
sites are VERY tightly packed... not the worst stop in the world but more of a $30 campground for $60.
Report Check-In3 nights at Hackberry Flat, close to the reservoir. Shallow area for kids to swim. Full hookup at #82 flat, all dirt except pad.

Nice bike rides around the campground, geese flying over morning and night and some ducks. Busy on the weekend and music into the night.

we arrived on friday without reservation. they have alot of space with "no hook up"- campsites. the lake is great and it's really save for children. but it is loud. during daytime jetskis, motorboats and other motorized things are crossing the water permanently. nearly every group in our neighborhood had a boombox. we payed 30 dollar per night. you can find a dumpstation when you're leaving. the toilets were terrible.
