Latest Check-Ins

I had a lovely, restful stay here in the cottage for a few nights. It's basic and signal is bad, but the beds and shower were great. Amazing location on the Zambezi as well and close to the Sioma Falls, which is also worth a visit. The restaurant food is also decent. The campsite ablutions are OK, and if you drive all the way to the back there is a good, flat site overlooking the river. There are also a few hidden sites on the hill. As you drive to the back, take the small road right up the hill. One site on the right and one on the left. Sylvia was very friendly and Janet (who wasn't there at the time) was also friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend, for the price it's great.

Generally as described. Main ablutions looking a little tired but there is a much nicer outdoor shower heated by donkey boiler. Campsites are on sloping and uneven ground, so it was tricky to get the RTT flat, but lots of rocks around to help.
A beautiful location, friendly hosts and Eddie couldn’t have been nicer in making sure we had everything we needed.
K350 (ZMW) per site, it is possible to pay by credit card.

A great location and stop over with ice cold beer and decent food . Eddie is a champion and makes you feel so welcome

Report Check-In

Nice camp with either shade or a view of the river/sand dunes. 100kw a bargain
Hot outdoor shower, clean ablutions but a distance from camp.
Good value food and drink, Eddie even asked the chef to stay to ensure we could eat.
Clean camping area, friendly hosts

Stunning views of the Zambezi and sand banks. Lovely to walk along the squeaking sands! Campsites have their own SA electricity point and running water. Ablutions area bit far from the campsite but the sunrise view from bed over the Zambezi was amazing! Free braai wood.

Nice campsite overlooking a sandy and rocky bend in the Zambezi. You can see hippos and crocs here. The owner (Eddie) is a really nice guy and will look after you. There's a restaurant where you can get a good meal and cheap drinks at the bar. Facilities are pretty good with hot water for showers and flushing toilets. Slow WiFi is available close to the house but not at the bar or campsite. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it. 300 ZMW for 1 vehicle with 4 people per night. The Ngonye falls are nearby and cost 50 ZMW ppn.

lovely lodge with a beautiful view of the Zambezi. we rented the family room, had loads of space clean and neat. was only K350 pppn 3 kids (all under 4 years old) were free

Report Check-In

The place is run down. Paid K150pppn. Noisy kids swimming in the pool beyond. Bathrooms far from campsites. A lot of under growth under the trees so you don’t have a river view. Fire pits few. No water at the campsites. Very disappointed.

Amazing accommodation option.. Run by Eddie and Jeanette from SA.. They are extremely helpful.. We had a breakdown close to their accommodation and they helped to take us to the closest town to try and assist... The camping sites are amazing.. Some with grass and some with sand... Loads of trees for shade and some of the camp sites have the most amazing views of the Zambezi river.. Currently it is very low water which means there is a natural beach area.. Amazing pool with a view of the river.. The restaurant and food is amazing and all the staff on site is super friendly and helpful.. Campsite is 300 kwacha per night... Will definitely recommend this as an accommodation option if you are in the area... They also have chalets and caravan accommodation options..😊

Everything is as described before, they made us a dinner with fresh bream caught in the river for R150pp. Very sweet accommodating couple. Paid R500 for a chalet. R300 for a campsite. They have strong wifi at their house, make friends with them and you can use it for some essential things 😊

Situated 1,5 km away from the main road. Nice camping area at the bank of the Zambezi. When the water level is low you see a pool surrounded with white sand and dark brown rocks. Pitches with grass other are on sand and have some shade. There is one spectacular pitch at the end of the camping area at the edge of a rock unfortunately there is no shade. Pitches have running water en electricity.
