Very quiet spot just off the dirt road to Kipili. Camp in a old excavation site, so barely visible from the road. No-one passing through and no villages for 10km either direction. Very peaceful!

Good place to spend the night when you don't make it to Kipili. We stopped here because of heavy rainfall. Ground was not too muddy, might be different after longer rainfall.
Report Check-InThe use of the location is still OK. With the tall grass near the road it is difficult to see a camp here unless it is a big rig. Currently there are large areas of water in the gravel pit limiting camp options. Minimal traffic on the road occasional buses trucks and motorbikes.
