Namibia
Beautiful lodge on the banks of the river that separates Angola and Namibia. The campsites each have their own private bathroom, Braai, dish washing areas with a picnic table. Fluffy green grass and lots of parking space big enough for big rigs. Beautiful natural pool. WiFi is slow, don’t expect to do big things online.
December 2023 updated, We paid N$ 165 per person per night.

Very beautiful and big camp sites with private ablusions and kitchen. Beautiful natural pool near the river bed, great staff and you can even play mini golf for 40 NAD. Paid 165 NAD a person. WiFi is slow or very average, depending on the moment. I was not able to do my work meetings and even normal stuff online took us a long time! So very beautiful place but we went here because of the WiFi but the WiFi is definitely not worth visiting. The rest is!
Report Check-InVery nice campsites, the whole lodge is beautiful and staff is constantly taking care of it. Private bathroom, very clean, braai, electricity. Nice space, with shadow, very close to each other but it was actually nice cause we made friends. Not exactly view to the river, but just a walk away. Restaurant, bar and pool have river view. Paid NAD165 each person. Have 1h boat cruises 70-140. It was a perfect stop to relax.
Report Check-Inreally comfortable, beautiful campsite+ affordable rooms, super friendly staff+ good food options at Lodge restaurant
Report Check-InNice campsite. Private ablutions and a powerful shower. Lovely view of the river from the bar.
Mini golf for 40 ND!
Slippery pool - good value at 330 for two.
Third stay in 18months, continues to be a great stopover.
16 camp sites with private ablutions, all clean with great hot water. Grassy areas to camp, can be noisy with lodge/campers walking past.
. Laundry facilities, crazy golf, pool table, kids play area, pool, peacocks and birds as well as a restaurant bar and river cruise!
The campsites are crammed together away from the river. Each has a small shower and toilet, which are clean. The restaurant is unenticing. I paid 165 for the night. It's a useful stopover.
Report Check-InReally nice place with all the facilities. No the campsites are not facing the river but, maybe it's for the best, no mosquitoes! Nice staff and a wonderful lodge, bar, terrace right in front of the river. 165pppn
Report Check-InRestaurant and bar have nice view over the river, and the campoffer afternoon river cruise for N70 per hour, or sunset cruise for N140 per hour. Camp sites are closer to each other than other camps in Namibia (but we have been spoilt). All camp sites have private ablutions and braai for N165 pp
Report Check-InVery nice location directly at the Okavango River facing to Angola. Very friendly people. We strongly recommend this place espacially for a truck. Very good restaurant. Private and clean ablution block for each grassy and spacious site.
Report Check-Inlovely campsite with private ablution, overlooking the Kavango River onto Angola.
beautiful campsite overlooking the Kavango River, onto Angola. Private ablution.
Report Check-InLovely grassy sites with private toilet/shower and braai. Great swimming pool. N$165 for adults and N$95 per child under 12. Boat cruises available. Self service laundromat on site. Bar and kiosk selling ice creams etc. Can pay by credit card. Big rig friendly.
Report Check-InNice lodge, but the campsites are not directly on the river. You can see the water, but far away. Shady sites with green lawn. We paid 155 ppn. WIFI free.
Deck and restaurant are directly on the Kavango river, very nice place with beautiful views
As said before, each campsite is fully equipped, also has a private bathroom. The decking of restaurant is very nice, we managed to have breakfast there. Swimming pool very slippery. Loads of domestic animals around, very friendly :) Owners are welcoming and helpful
Report Check-InNice located campground. The sites have each a private shower and toilet. Rather small, but we werre the only campers and had the best site with river view. We can recommend the sunset boattrip
Report Check-InGood spot, grassed individual sites with own ablutions. Very good hot water and pressure. Nice deck and restaurant overlooking Kavango river. Eco pool, beware very slippery when entering.
Report Check-InLovely lodge, spacious sites in lush green grass, private ablutions per site, most sites have partial river view. Good restaurant, friendly reception and welcome, sundowner cruises offered. Nice pool and terrace facing the river. WiFi 500MB for 50 N$.
Camp was 155 N$.
Was a great upmarket campsite 6 years ago. Now accepting overland buses.......shame.
Report Check-InPaid 145 NAD pp a night for camping. Some big sites for larger vehicles. Sunset cruise was 130 NAD pp. much nicer than staying in town.
Report Check-InGood, clean, well maintained place for a night, but we were not very impressed compared to other river lodges. Campsites are laid out with no imagination- close together and not on the river. Restaurant food was nothing special, but the setting on the deck over the river was great.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay - staff made us really welcome. You can go on trips on the river, to the local school, village or dance display and these will all benefit the local community. Very lovely place to sit by the river and watch birds or have a sundowner!!
Report Check-InEverything was good but the campsites are rather regimented in the way they are set out. We paid NAD140pppn
Report Check-InVery nice campsites next to lodge and 20m to river. Boat tours offered but not taken. 145NAD pppn. Good facilities so we stayed an extra night. Rowdy birds in the morning but a quiet stay. A few distant voices drifting over the water from Angola. Nice bar and deck area with some floodlighting of river. Staff friendly and helpful
Report Check-InNice lodge and campground but price has increased to 145pp to camp. It was raining so we opted to stay in one of the safari tents. Wifi is glacially slow and shower drains clogged but food in restaurant was good.
Report Check-InNow 145 ppn,(price rose weithin five minutes, the guy before us paid 130 ppn) children half price - too expensive. no negotiating possible. Perhaps they dont want overlander in trucks....
Report Check-InWe had a great stopover at the Kaisosi campground enroute to etosha. The campsites are super organized with individual bathroom / shower, braai area, and power points. There is a lovely deck overlooking the river. Wifi worked perfectly and even reached the campsites.
Report Check-InCampsites are really not that nice. They're not on the river and are really small, right on top of other campers. Restaurant is good at least but there are much better riverside camping options in the Caprivi. $110 pppn.
Report Check-InVery Nice Spot. Each campground has its own toilette and shower. Very next to the river and the restaurant seems to be good - we are going to taste now. We paid 110 nam dollar per person.
Report Check-InVery nice Location at the Okavango River with a beautiful view on the terrace.
Report Check-InAmazing place, staff are friendly. Pitches are a good size, ablutions and showers clean and fresh. Hot water also! BBQ area along with a table and chairs. Restaurant if needed. 110N$per person per night
Report Check-InPractical stop en route to the Caprivi strip, camping on lawn with private ablutions but pitches are close to each other with braai area and electricity, restaurant and bar, terrasse overlooking the river, free wifi, firewood 30N$ (2€)
105N$pp (7€)
Beautiful lodge on the banks of the river that separates Angola and Namibia. The campsites each have their own private bathroom, Braai, dish washing areas with a picnic table. Fluffy green grass and lots of parking space big enough for big rigs. We paid N$ 100 per person per night.
