Mexico
Not Free. Popular for surfers and others who like beach, as it is really good spot. Not much from a campsite though. There are quite a few spots there and if you drive down south, you can find many more free places to camp on the side of ocean. When we were there all spots in camp were full and we drove south and found a spot overlooking beach. There is cell coverage. 10mi/16km from hwy.

Beautiful beach, a surfer’s paradise! The sites can be in the dunes or on the bluffs. Current fee is 100 pesos per night. No haggling. Nardo comes by and collects. He has an American, English speaking person with him. Nardo is very nice and kind. Be prepared to pay or you will be asked to leave. This is a privately owned ranch. If you are lucky, he may not stop by for payment.
No amenities. Pack out everything, please. If fact, pick up a few pieces of trash to take with you. Every little bit helps keep it clean.
Le 15 km de petite route qui prend près d’une heure à faire, vaut le détour. 70 pesos par personne /jour, négociable. Beaucoup de place pour camper mais aussi beaucoup de monde. Rester 2 jours.
Report Check-InChristmas Day! ¡Navidad! Nice view, surf, birds. Muy tranquillo y limpia. Nice people. The road in not too bad - take your time. A great place to camp.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot but no cell coverage. No 4g or 3g, couldn't stay since we have deadlines to honored.. We are with Unefon.
Report Check-InThere is no sign to turn- we used our iOverlander maps to find it - but it was easy found. Now for the 10 mile dirt road to the ocean! It was well worth it ! We parked on the ridge and could see for miles. Take the Y to the right on the end for good spots.
Report Check-InLovely campsites right on the beautiful beach. Nice swell, sometimes windy, but not bad. The people who maintain the ranch and campsites are very nice. They keep a water tank filled for showers and it's not salty. You can surf, fish or collect oysters on the beach. There is a small fish camp just north of the lighthouse where you can buy oysters, fish and lobster from the friendly fishermen. The road in is mostly nice, but there are a few challenging spots. 2 wheel drive okay.
Report Check-InLots of little “camp sites” — some tucked off the bluff amongst the bushes and others along the bluff or closer to the water. All are great!! We were charged 60 pesos per adult. Haven’t checked out the “toilet” or “shower “ but apparently they’re there. Natural small rock protected “swimming pool “ at low tide— would be great for kids and “lazing “ adults. Nice surf waves!!
Report Check-InWonderful place, clean!! with big bushes and dunes which provides shelter from wind, Tecel, Movistar good reception, speed - H. Nice beach brake just in front. Fresh fish from fisherman 50mxp/pc, or lobster. Water from well available. We ask for lower price since staying over week. Road here.is terible, took us over an hour with 22feeter. Bring enough to stay as
much as you can. Its heaven!!:)
120 pesos pour notre camping car de 24 pieds , sable mou juste à la fin au bout d'une heure de chemin étroit . la pêche est dur du bord . bon spot pour surf . rien de plus ...
Report Check-InStayed for the night overlooking the ocean and taking a long walk along the beautiful beach. Payed $4 per person, did not use any facilities.
It was worth the bumpy drive.
Beautiful and quite beach! The dirt road (12km) is pretty good! We came with an old vw t2 and we made it. :) there's a ranch down there where you can get water and use the facilities. Different beautiful places to camp! We payed 120 pesos for one night.
Report Check-In$6US/pp/nt, but like all of Mexico, it's negotiable. Cold shower about a km back from the beach in a field. Brackish water. Can get very windy--big kite board and surf spot. Beach is beautiful; not much else out there. If you come in at the km 82, it only takes 10minutes. About 45 min and bumpy coming in from the 53km marker to the south (learn from our mistake and don't take that route).
