Just at the junction starts a big, flat place. Nothing special but a lot of space to stay for a night. The road to Scottys Castle is closed since month (10\2017) so you should finde even more privat places on this road. Here it was very quite at night!

Report Check-InDecent spot to overnight, good Verizon cell signal. Trucks will be parking here too so expect some noise. Life flight uses this lot to land so you may be rousted in the middle of the night if there is an emergency in the area, parking along the edges is a good idea….
Report Check-Inas described before me. the parking area is paved. it's a bit off level but if you drive across the cattle guard onto the other side of the fence, it's more level BUT it's a gravel lot so take your pick.
