Colombia
Recreation area with camping in the grassy parking lot next to the basketball court. Large, very nice swimming pool (separate cost for using the pool), small tienda, restaurant, cold showers, flush toilets. We were told the water is potable but what came out of the outside spigot was brown and silty. 12,000 pesos per person. The parking is close to the highway but there was very little traffic and we didn't here any loud truck brakes. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was pretty good, prices between 15,000-19,000 for meat (good portion), small salad, and two starches. Tipico breakfast is 7,000.

A grass patch behind the hotel and restaurant. They charged us 30k for the night. The washrooms/shower were clean (no toilet paper). We didn’t use the pool but it looked beautiful. The people were super nice. Convenient stop on the way to El Cocuy. A little road noise but not bad. Locked gate and security guard all night.🍁
Report Check-InOkay place to camp as the road is nearby. Only cold showers available. We camp together with other overlanders at the basketball court as the parking lot was quite muddy. Price may vary depending who is in charge of the place the day you arrive. Big rigs can fit here easily.
Report Check-InWe too stayed here to break up the long slow road to El Cocuy National Park. In spite of the large sign advertising "Camping", the young lady attending the park had no idea what the cost was... She needed to phone the boss and inquire, later she came to our camper and asked for $35k for two people in our camper. Very nice pools and bathrooms I assume, we used neither. Would be a very nice spot for kids to play in the pool.
Report Check-InHotel Camping comodo. Baños limpios. Seguridad, restaurante, piscina. Ideal como parada en camino ak Parque Nacional Sierra Nevada del Cocuy. Sitio de parqueo nivelado. Costo 2022 $18.000/pp mas $10.000 por camper.

Small shop to buy drinks and snacks, behind the shop are the modern and clean showers and toilets. no hot water when I was there. friendly owner, nice pool to swim. there is also a big pool for kids. they closed at 6pm and the owner came back at 6am. Gate was closed, bathrooms open. restaurant only open on Saturday and Sunday. You need a swimming Cap, was charged 1800P to get one. close to street, the noise was ok.
