Nice place off Hwy 313 prior to Canyonlands NP.
Spacious graveled and level sites - 56 in total. First come - first serve - self registration ($20). Clean pit toilets. Nice 2 mile loop hiking trail starting close to sites 14 & 27.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Site 19 tenting only area. Easy access, clean, lots of pit toilets all around. No water. All sites have fire rings and picnic tables. Great access to a variety of mountain bike trails. Lots of bushes/trees between sites for privacy and wind protection.
Report Check-InWith snow, the access to this campsite was difficult, with a 2wd RV we got stucked. Luckily we had chains and we where able to get back to the main road.
If you travel during winter time (maybe it was closed) get there with sunlight, check weather and road conditions.
Great spacious camp sites, friendly campers, level sites with picnic tables and a great deal if you have America the Beautiful pass only $10/night!
Report Check-InArrived at 7:30pm on a Monday in the middle of Aug. Even though half of the 50 spots are closed until 8/29, only 5/25 spots were occupied. .Decent 3G-ish t-mobile cell. Could text, call, light internet. Not downloading without superior service. Great sunset view. Clean pit toilets. Nice camp!
Report Check-InThe A loop was open, but the B and C loops were closed for maintenance. As the OP reported, it is a very nice place, actually much nicer that the Willow Flat campground in the park. On a Tuesday night in mid.-summer, this place was 1/4 - 1/3 occupied. Interestingly, it has credit card electronic payment kiosk. Weak ATT cell service and intermittent T-Mobile service.
Report Check-InPaid $20 upon arrival with self reservations, first come first serve. Plenty of campsites were available when we arrived. Was a quiet and peaceful campground. Stars were incredible at night. Pit toilets, picnic tables and firepit. Perfect place to stay if you are going to the Canyonlands NP and/or Arches NP as they are both close in proximity. Would stay again!
Report Check-InWe arrived at 1pm on a Thursday in mid October and literally snagged the very last RV spot. The host said the site was probably only vacant for a few min because the previous campers left late. And I don't know how many RVs came circling through the loops looking for a spot after us.
56 spots but very busy during high season! We did see a couple of open tent spots. $20/night. Vault toilets. 1-2 bars of LTE for Verizon and att. Our TMobile hotspot says it has a bar but our phones say no internet from that hotspot.
Nice campground, close to bike trails. Dogs allowed but on leash only.
Report Check-InGreat spot, all spaces have a table, level square area for tent and fire rings. Plenty of spots available when we pulled in. Picture of campground map attached.
Report Check-InCamped on BLM land nearby. Very isolated and quiet. The solitude is great. Not another person for miles.
Report Check-In$20 per night (all BLM campgrounds in the Moab area are $20 per night). Established campsites with fire pit & table. Gets full by 1pm. Great spot to access Arches & Canyonlands NPs.
Unfortunately we were forced to leave on March 18 due to Grand County (Moab) travel restrictions / COVID-19.
Report Check-InNice BLM campground, just outside Canyonlands Island in the Sky.

Report Check-InGood spot, quiet no noise
Un bon spot avant Canyonland Island in the Sky, 20$ la nuit.
Good spot close to Dead Horse Point SP and Canyonlands NP's Island in the Sky district. Lots of empty sites on a Sunday in late September. $15 self-register.
Report Check-InNice campground for dry camping close to canyonlands. Lots of mountain bike trail just near.
More than 50 spots, you’ll always found a place for camp here. Table and fire pit on each spot. Toilets. 15$ self registration.
BLM campground with standard facilities. $15 per night, plenty of room for big rigs. Most spots have shade trees. Road to access it is gravel and a little rough but easily passed with standard vehicle. Even has a dumpster for rubbish. Lots of pit toilets dotted around and a nice breeze on a hot night!
