Description
Nice campground in sleepy coastal town. Direct access to beach which has plenty of picnic and shady areas. Campground is unfenced but feels safe. Grassy campsites some with plenty of protection from wind by low trees. Some sites no shade. Clean ablutions but take your own paper and soap. Good LTE from Vodacom. Beach has children's play area. A few local shops within short walk and cafeteria too. Water taps and electric points around sites. They offer 30% discount for pensioners.

Nice location but NOT pet friendly. Apparently you can’t walk tour dog on the beach without risking a fine. Drove 3.5h and was not amused to find an alternative for the night

Shop ice-cream and restaurant on the corner. Toilet paper there is some but be sure bring your own one with you ;)

Coastal resort, very popular with fishermen. Facilities/ablution clean and functional, scullery facilities also available. Sites vary from grassy and shady to sandy and sunny. There are also chalets to hire. There is a shop and restaurant in short walking distance of the caravan park.
Report Check-InThis is a lovely campsite by the Hessequa Municipality. There is shelter from the wind. The campsites are far from each other. The ablutions are clean. We paid R240 for the site. We got 30% discount because my husband is over 60 years of age. We can recommend this place 100%.

Report Check-InAs described earlier. Now R225 per night for the site. However they say they do not accept credit cards or cash only debit cards. We persuaded them to take our cash! There are no BBQs at the sites, you need to have your own. Nice location, good facilities.
