Location as described. Just spoke to a local who said that this is all private property and that no camping is allowed. Mark as closed

Report Check-In

We are standing 500m bevore. Saved of Wind. ! Slipery Hillroad wen wet.

Report Check-In

We stayed after the hurricane. Lots of rocks and sand washed away. Adv motorcycles or 4x4 rigs. No cruisers or touring bikes. Beautiful spot. No problems. Just some friendly locals.

Report Check-In

I was on a motorcycle and went out here to check out the spot. I decided not to stay here because there were a few people already there. It is a nice spot worth checking out. The reason I am posting is the road changes to Dirt with no **"WARNING"** Extremely dangerous on a motorcycle!!! It was more good luck than good management that kept me upright. Just wanted give people a heads up.

Loved it! Indeed one fisherman till late, lots of moskitoes, no vandals,… no worries ;) ! PS: I backward from the round about going down to the beach!

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot by the water! We camped here for the night with our dog. Beautiful sunset, really calm and peaceful. A few fisherman came back at the end of the day but did not bother us at all. Like mentioned before, lots of mosquitos. Although with repellent we were able to enjoy the sunset and the view. Be careful, on the way there the road switches from pavement to gravel without any warning .

Report Check-In

nice spot by a rocky beach. lots of parking spots. we were five the night we stayed, and still had plenty of privacy. short walk up the hill leads to an amazing view of the beach.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Really nice spot by the water. We were able to 3-point turn our 6m long promaster van but would not recommend anything longer than that as you'll have to reverse back up a pretty steep and rough hill to exit. Best to walk down the last hill after the bridge to check the area before driving down. Had no issues with vandals and had a quiet night.

Report Check-In

Really enjoyed this place. We went on the cliff for the campsite and saw a beautiful sunset and sunrise. Calm and peaceful place.
I highly recommand to camp there :)

Report Check-In

Great spot - nice road all the way there at the bridge on either side are a few nice flat spots - at the end of the road pretty narrow for larger vehicles - not a turn around. Quiet lots of boaters beside bridge but still quiet. Make the trip off hwy worth it

Report Check-In

Great camp spot! Driving to the end of the road you get a gorgeous view of the sunset and are out of the way of any harbour traffic. A bit soft in the sand and don’t drive onto the beach but right before all that there’s a fairly nice place to camp right on the water. And you’re close to the beach for a sunrise beach walk. Leave no trace. There isn’t much around you except nature so look forward to a peaceful, low light and quiet sleep.

This place looks nice however when we arrived the mosquitoes were UNBEARABLE. We walked to the site directly on the beach and I ended up with probably 100 bites in the 5 minutes the walk took. Hard to believe the mosquitoes haven't been mentioned here yet. Too bad, seems like a nice spot otherwise. We parked in the wooded area overlooking the dock.

Report Check-In

as written. local kids came down to party at 3 am on fishing boat Rusty Rhen. they were playing loud music and shining flashlights at us. they must have walked there because no vehicles and quiet. our motorhome was vandalized sometime in the night, probably as they walked back out? not sure. beautiful spot ruined by immature morons.

Report Check-In

It's a good spot! Definitely appreciated the other comment about it turning to sand, I personally couldn't have drove down but you can see people do. So that would be fun! Also to note, that nice pavement you're driving on, suddenly turns to gravel with no warning lol.. hello hitting that at 80km urgh. The spots on the top of the hill right after the bridge are great. Could see it being busy but very quiet night for me! No one else. There is currently a huge bulldozer scraping the road..now at the beach, so ya not sure what he's doing..but potential for construction machinery I guess. Glad I'm far from the road. ps. holy hell mosquitos at night. Daytime not as bad.

Report Check-In

Great spot. Easy access to a couple spots. The spot on the beach was taken so we parked across from some fishing boats. Just walk across a small bridge for a nice walk on the beach. Quiet at night. Fishing crew came early but other than that, very quiet

Report Check-In

We parked before the bridge in the opening. Was beautiful view of the fishing boats. Stayed on way to and back from Cape Breton. People come and go fishing but no hassles.

Report Check-In

Great place! We stayed on the grassy area on the top before the beach. There was a firepit and loads of dead dry wood. There weren't many people at night, but early morning some fisherman came and other people came to walk their dogs.
Please take your garbage with you and don't leave it in the firepit.

Report Check-In

It's an awesome place! BUT
There is a Sign: No Driving on the beach... Protected Area!
Please Respect that!
Thake the Spot on the way to the Beach and take your garbage with you!

Report Check-In

Check the last 100 meters first before you go in. Can be soft sand and then you need 4wd and clearance and nothing larger than a midsized verhicle. The best thing todo when you drive the gravelroad is to park your car 100 meters after the bridge y've crossed. After the bridge the track goes a bit up and down to this spot. Just on the top there is place to park, to turn or even to stay. Till this point it's also ok for big rigs or 2wd. From there you can walk down the 100 meters to this spot to check it out.
