We usually stop here on our way through. There is a self registration box ($15) near the first site. As others have said, you have to arrive during working hours to get electricity and water, it's still a deal for dry camping. Good for dog walking and there is a dump station.

Great spot to park for a night or two! I stayed one night and it was very quiet aside from the river (which I found very peaceful). There are porta-John’s, though they could use some servicing. Was fine, just bring your own TP 😅. I saw earlier comments mentioned there was a way to pay for the sites if you arrive late, but I didn’t spot any money drop boxes—possibly because it’s the winter? Unsure, but very grateful for this quiet place to stay for the night!

Beautiful park. Lots of playground equipment, picnic tables, grills for day use. Public pool. Porto potties. Few people here on a Tuesday at 5pm.

Some of the overnight sites are right on the river. All have picnic tables with covers and grills.

There is a pay box with envelopes with no markings and no site numbers at sites so I guess it’s something of an honor system.

Not sure how the utilities get turned on at the sites. They are all locked now at 7:30pm. Still worth the 15 bucks to me (see pics).

I asked some locals about swimming in the river and they said they didn’t advise it because of tree branches in the murky water you can’t see.

Do not waste your time stopping here. A real neat camping spot, the problem is the Electric hookups and water faucets have padlocks on them, and you must check in 8-5 Monday thru Friday. No self pay honor system here. Pull in after 5:00 pm any day and your not getting hookups for the night.

Over 20 sites with Electric & Water (15/30/50 Amps) right within the city park. City pool nearby, disc golf, volleyball, basketball. It’s $15 per night. RV Dump available on the way out as well.
