Several nice grassy places along a side valley, this is the first but you can drive further on a dirt road, no traffic, clean water from the small river.
No mobile reception.

We took some time to rest after a long drive. It was around lunchtime and very sunny. We used our awning to get some shade. Suddenly the weather changed and out of nowhere there was a really strong wind that lifted our awning and broke some parts :(. So be careful.

Report Check-InGreat place!! Track off by tin shack about 500m up but lots of options. Found a lovely flat grassy patch out of sight of the road with some cover from the reeds and old stone wall. Right next to a stream running fresh from the mountain (not from the mined river) so we could pump water. Quiet night in the hills, perfect break from the main road.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Dirt road that head up through the valley in the mountains. Many options. far from the road. Very Quiet. met one local who lives further up and he was super chill and had no issues with as sleeping here.
Report Check-InBest option between here and Huancayo. Very quiet, not visible from the road. We set the button big rig friendly. No mobile reception.
Report Check-InBeautiful place but 2 locals saw a light and they spent a few hours trying to find my tent... i was hidden by some bushes but the dog found me.
They tough i was a robber trying to steal something in the shed close to the road but they understood i'm just a bike traveller.
