There is a camping here but we didn't stop. It looks like very nice near the road.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
nice place to stay for a night. comodities available and calm during the night. we were alone after 7:00pm.. free off season
Report Check-InThis place is amazing! It’s very clean- bathrooms (for those of you wondering- no toilet seats), and green areas -and quite except for a little road noise. It’s right off the main road, but there are many spots for camping each with its grill, lights and outlets for Chilean ports (I think it’s 220V). It’s not gated, it’s more like an open municipal park, but it felt safe there. Best part about this place- in off season it’s really free! There is a lady who lives in the house in the back with her 2 kids and she maintains the place. When we got there she wasn’t there, but we waited a little bit to ask to stay- as we like to ask, and she didn’t mind. She didn’t even come check in with us. The lower area near the river gets wet and sometimes flooded, so stay to the upper area near the bathrooms/showers area. Best spot in Uruguay so far!

Electricity available at spot. Nice quiet river to cool down. Barbecues. Lot of shades under the trees. Get cooler at night. We can hear the trucks in the background but quiet at night. Lot of mosquitoes and tabanos...
There are some rooms for rent, a small shop (not cheap) and the people there are very friendly (Carmen, Mario, Carmen's dad and their families).
