Description
The place is mainly for volunteers in local school project but overnight campers are also very welcome. They opened a room for us to use the hot shower. Camping is now 20.000 KES pp (negotiable), simple dinner is 15,000. It is interesting checking out the school and the volunteer project.

Report Check-InStayed one night. Given a brief tour of school. Room made available for shower. Parked our big rig inside gate, but not room left for anything else. 40K UGX.
Report Check-InGood place to stop on the way. Nice project, nice garden. Buildings and rooms a bit old. Hot shower though, toilets outside the room.

A lovely place to stay. It is really quite and toilettes and showers are very clean. We had dinner for 15.000 and it was really good. Camping is still 15.000pppn. The kids at the school were amazing. We can definitely recommend this place. Very friendly and welcoming people!
Report Check-InStayed one night in our tent and used shower in one of the guest rooms. Very welcoming staff. Met some of the volunteers. Unfortunately school was on break. The kitchen prepares meals for the volunteers and employees and travellers could also place an order. We just had breakfast. There’s a bar with cold drinks. Everything reasonably priced.
Report Check-InWhat a nice place. Dennis the owner built up this place 12 years ago to give the people in the village education and employment. There are rooms for rent and it is also possible to stay in your tent or sleep in your rooftent. We visited the school , medical center,... we had a really great time. Dennis is so helpful. He knows a good mechanic who changed our fuel pump with a new spare part in the garden of the lodge. In the afternoon we had some drinks. We enjoyed it very much and learned a lot about Uganda. We payed 30.000 pp and had dinner and breakfast included. Highly recommended.
