Fair to dismal place east of Death Valley (40 min)

Came here around 8:30pm to spend night. Around 9pm they are shooting fireworks across the street at the super store. Slept pretty good, relatively quiet with my maxx air fan on. Good alternative to stressing about vegas parking.
Report Check-InArrived for the sunset around 19:00, beautiful!
Super safe, restroom are clean, possible to take a shower at the RV park next for 5$. We slept so well, very close to Death Valley.
Would recommend 100%
an oasis in the middle of nowhere. can head south to death valley or west to rhyolite
Report Check-InPretty large rest area with plenty of space for any size vehicle. Good cell reception. Easy access right now when heading into/out of Death Valley
Report Check-Infree to stay over but the bathrooms are filthy. bring a bottle of hand sanitizer and Lysol and spray down your shoes, sanitize anything that touched anything. we arrived after dark, it's not well lit so if you are used to Eastern waysides this isn't it. You might just stay on blm land and pee in the desert, instead.
Report Check-InArrived at 8pm, at first we were alone and not so confortable with the idea of sleeping next to the highway but the spot is nice for one night, people arrived during the night, not so noizy, tables to eat and clean restroom
Report Check-InBig rest area with bathrooms open 24 hours, garbage cans, picnic area, gas station. Across from area 51 travel center. Can stay at Nevada rest areas for 18 hours. We stopped here between Death Valley and Las Vegas.
Report Check-InGreat spot to stop and fill up on water and park. Clean restrooms. Also a place to dump trash. The bathrooms are old, but they are stocked with toilet paper. no hand soap so have some handy.
Report Check-InDecent for a night , pretty loud all night but we were left alone, right next to an rv park which was weird so we stayed on the other side of the tables by the road. When we woke up 2 rvs were in the main truck parki no lot though. No one bothered us
Report Check-Init's kind of a pretty little rest area with lots of leafy trees and little paths as well as paved parking. Good potable water, good cell reception, picnic tables, I'm pretty sure it even has an electric charging station for hybrid vehicles. at least I think that's what that was. reasonably clean bathrooms, and numerous dumpsters and garbage cans. it is windy, but that's why I decided to stop here. I was so tired of fighting the wind with my trailer. I think it's an awesome place to stop. I will be back.
Report Check-InFor those not familiar with the type of water faucet, we thought it was turned off the first. you have to lift the handle completely up. They aren't pumps. Also incredibly windy as others mentioned.
Report Check-In18 hour parking limit, although I don't know how they can check it. Paved rest area with picnic tables, restrooms. Clean and well maintained. Was very windy so the sand was flying everywhere.
Certified potable water spigots near the bathrooms. The current is very strong so open it slowly. We refilled our 6 gallon (22l) tank in like 30 seconds.
we are here with one more RV and few trucks. OK place for one night. next to a busy road.
Report Check-InGot in around 10pm and no one was around. Woke up early and went across the street to the Area 51 gas station / brothel. Skipped the women but stayed for the pop tarts and fuel.
Not really an overnight place but I don't think it's enforced whatsoever. Good for only one night.
great spot. stayed here 2 nights. it has some highway noise but overall is very comfortable. clean toilets. good cell reception. many picnic tables and water.
Report Check-InKeep in mind, it's just a rest area. Y're close to and visible from the main road.
Report Check-Inmany place , restroom and water, picnic.
good place before deathvalley (40 min)
