Sauf pour une ou deux voitures au cour de la nuit nous avons passé une nuit tranquille. Très belle endroit tranquille.
Except for à couple of cars duri g the night very quiet night. Handsome place.
Report Check-InFantastic spot, quiet, hardly anybody there, clean flush toilets, very pleasant to stay at and nobody bothered or checked.
Report Check-Inreceived "the knock" by the sheriff and asked us and an RV to leave. he stated park closes at sunset and we cannot stay there.
Report Check-Innice. quiet large lot by the river, some street lights on parking lot. few fisherman came early but did not bother us. has flush toliets and picnic tables with pavilions.
would definitely stay here again.
Hidden gem on the Matanzas river. Great place to spend a safe quiet night and a day. Adjacent park “closes” at 10 but boat ramp area parking appears to be open 24hours a day. Fantastic place to relax and let the dogs swim. Minimal nuisance bugs and working toilets in park area. Would stay again. TREVELN
Report Check-InDefinitely felt a little nervous given the sheriff car nearby and the park hours, but slept like a baby with no knocks! Woke up to a beautiful sunrise. Bathrooms are nice, one toilet and sink in a little open air stall. Nice little grills and picnic tables to hang out at. Would stay again.
Report Check-InThis place is open! Great overnight spot. Park says it closes at dusk, but no gates. A few trucks rolled through overnight and in the morning to use the restrooms. Clean restrooms, beautiful peaceful sand lot right by the boat ramp and water. Gorgeous! Sheriff’s house right next door, no one bothered me. Would have loved to stay longer!
Report Check-InThis was a great little park up. Lovely and quiet. Beach 10 min walk. Water available and clean toilets. The sheriffs house is next door so we spoke to him and he was happy to turn a blind eye and for us to stay. Great little stop over.
Report Check-InStopped to see if it was open since other comments say that it will reopen after Feb 23rd. The boat ramp is still closed. Not much room to turn around if you are in a big RV. It does not say when it will be finished.
Report Check-Inclose for renovation up to February 23, gate at the entrance no way to stay there
Report Check-InReally nice, quiet spot. The toilets seem to be open 24hours and they are super clean! The sheriff looks like he might live at the house at the end. No one bothered us. Perfect place to camp!
Report Check-InQuiet place. Nice view.
Restroom.
Sherrif’s car turned around but said anything.
Large level sandy loading and parking area of a boat ramp and park. Picknick tables, restroom. No shade. Sandflies.
Very quiet night, some lighting. Pretty location. Free.
Police car parked in sight of my van, didn't bother me.
For US, and especially for Florida standards, this is a great free spot.
Big Public Boat Ramp at Frank Butler Park West. The Sherriff patroulled the area just after our arrival at 5:30 but did not stop. If you leave St. Augustine on the crowded US-1 and SR-312 it is unbelievable to find such a quiet spot just 8 miles out of town.
Report Check-InGreat spot with super sunset! Local said it's no overnight but the sign washed away with Irma. He said it wasn't patrolled & that appeared to be the case. Had this quiet spot all to ourselves 😊 also has picnic tables and grills. Super clean bathrooms.
Report Check-Inparking boat ramp. No signs for no overnight parking. Restrooms and running water. Quiet at night. Police patrol came but said nothing. I spent 2 nights.
