Free parking lot for RV. Best way to visit St Augustine. Overnight parking possible with permit 35$ but it must be noisy near main roads.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
stayed here 2 night in a row.. No permit.. No problems. walkin distance to bars and shops. 88 high top vandura
Report Check-InVisitor Center lot for oversized vehicles (RVs, buses, trailers). Stayed here during the day two days in a row (stayed at the Cracker Barrel up the road at night). Right next to an elementary school. Felt safe, great walking distance from downtown shops and restaurants.
Report Check-InThis is a gravel lot specifically for RV's and Busses. It is next to a park, dogs welcome. You can stay the night, but you must call the phoone number on the signs and get a permit, its $35.
Report Check-InLot is as described. Spent 2 nights here in our 33' travel trailer. There are signs that say no camping. I was told when I paid that we couldn't stay in our trailer but nobody checked on us and there were other plenty of occupied trailers and Class A vehicles in the lot with us each night.
Report Check-InAs stated. Very convenient. No trying to drive down the narrow streets with heavy pedestrian traffic.
Report Check-InParked here for free from about 8am to 9pm for free. The signs say no overnight parking (except by calling to buy a $35 permit) but don't list specific times for what's considered "overnight". We opted to park in the free street parking downtown at night instead. It's a quiet & safe parking lot just a 5 minute walk from downtown. Great spot for the day!
Report Check-InNice parking lot within walking distance of most of old-town St. Augustine. It's located just outside of a city park with lots of room for the family to hang out and play. I want to reiterate what others have already said - overnight parking is allowed with a $35 permit that you have to *walk in* to the office to buy (it can not be purchased over the phone). It was stressed to me that the permit is for parking only, not sleeping in your rig. We slept in a KOA on Anastasia Island.
Report Check-InVery convenient parking for the day and free! We moved our van to a free street spot for the night rather than pay $35.
Report Check-InGreat free parking for oversized vehicles during the day. We moved to street parking in the evenings where it’s metered during the day and free from 5pm to 8am.
Note: enter from the North. The street on the South says no vehicles over 8 feet tall, 8 feet wide, and 24 ft long. It’s narrower and the wires are low.
Report Check-InGreat spot for free all day parking while exploring the area!
Be careful if your a smaller van you have to go to the parking garage across the field and get a bit of paper saying your too big for the parking lot and need to park in the oversized lot other wise you will be towed and fined.
Called and they said any vehicle over 7feet 2inches is good to park here. (We have a low roof sprinter). Nice quick walk into town and free until 10PM. No camping over night. Find another place out of town.
Report Check-InStationnement gratuit pour VR et parc pour animaux . Aucun stationnement de nuit. Très près de tout.
Report Check-InCalled phone number to get information. Overnight parking is fine with $35 permit, but you are not allowed to sleep in your vehicle. Should have asked if it was ok to sleep on city benches since many were occupied.
Report Check-InCareful! The permit only allows you to park your motorhome, not to sleep there. The guard specified that the city does not allow anyone to sleep there.
Report Check-InOk for rv and campers. Clearly indicated. No overnight whitout the permit.
Report Check-InParking allowed RVs on day, very close to st georges street. 35$ fees for overnight.
Report Check-InThis place is only for buses and for 35 $ fee. Not for RV. Not for overnight parking.
Report Check-InFree parking for RV during the day. 35$ permit for let the RV for the night but they dont want us to sleep in....
Report Check-InFree parking lot for RV. Best way to visit St Augustine. Overnight parking possible with permit 2$ but it must be noisy near main roads.
