Something not right?

Description

As our rig is too tall for Hotel Mario we came here; no height restriction. Negotiated and paid $40 for one night in a room plus parking for the next two nights while on a tour. Room is not huge but had good AC, nice pool, an enclosed trampoline and decent Wifi. Claro reception good too. It's possible you could sleep in your vehicle as when we parked, the security guard asked if we wanted power. He put us right beside the bathrooms/showers for the pool. The parking is around the corner on right if you are facing the hotel. There is a lavanderia right across the street.

VERY EXTENSIVE
We paid 50$ for 5 nights (2 in our motorhome and 3 nights only for storage). Cold showers bathroom swimming - pool and wifi. No height restriction.

The owner is very antipathic.
If you have time find another hotel less expensive.

We stay here two nights befor our tour in our van for 20$/night. It's very expensive without hot shower. But you can use pools, trampoline and we plug electricity. Cold shower and wc are next to you. The staff is really friendly. We let our van when we were in tour for 5$/night all the day and all the night is guarded, perfect!

I need to add that when we checked out they tried to charge us for parking while we were on the jungle tour. We were very clear (Lane speaks very good Spanish) when we checked in on the first night that we needed all the nights ofparking for free (she agreed) and that the only reason we were staying there was for that reason because the room was too expensive. In the end we gave them an extra $5 for parking. Be careful!

Report Check-In

We stayed here before and after our 4 day jungle tour and were able to leave our car in their secure lot. The first room we stayed in was on the third floor (308) a/c worked good and the bed comfortable, quiet too. On our return we stayed in 203, don’t stay in this room. Bed horrible, a/c way too cold and loud, much noise from the street and reception area. Bathroom funky.
There are many rooms, don’t settle until they show you one that meets your criteria. We paid $35 for a room matrimonial bed. Restaurant is ok, typical mediocre food.
Side note: we went on jungle tour to Dolphin lodge, I do not recommend as the buildings are super dilapidated (major mold!) and they are in the process of tearing them down and rebuilding. However, our guide Tamara was great so we did have an awesome jungle experience, just stay somewhere else.
