Quiet bay of abaut km 1.5. On the east side there is a very small fisherman village, in the middle a space which probably is a bushcamp (without infrastructure except "gazebos" and rubbish bins, and in the west site you are alone.

We had a completely different experience to the previous review. We arrived and were immediately greeted by a friendly man who spoke a tiny bit of English and French. He had a paper with camping prices 1000 kwanza pp. We camped on the opposite side of the beach to the village and weren't disturbed at all - in Angola this is quite a rarity and we really enjoyed the peace. We stayed two nights and it was completely quiet. The best swimming is nearer the village just past the big black fender as there are no rocks or urchins. We saw plenty of birds, one whale and a turtle.
Report Check-InVery nice Bay, the road to get there is absolutely wonderful.
Plenty of space to camp in the riverbed. If you go ask in the village they will ask for 1000pp. They are not aggressive nor welcoming.
We didn’t felt the vibe was very friendly, so we stayed for a beer on the beach and we left.
Lots of wild camp options on the way to come here.
Beautiful place! We stopped for a long lunch here. Watch out for sea urchins if swimming from the rocks. Plenty of sandy spots to swim from too! The road in is stunning. No signal.
Report Check-InStunning place to camp right next to the beach. We paid 2000 kwanza. Fisherman came over and said we have to pay because it is a private fishermen’s settlement.
Report Check-InNice bay where you can fish, swim, rest... It's a river bed so at this time of the year maybe not the best to spend a night but there is space pretty much everywhere.
Little village with fisherman.
Water wels use by the locals.
No shade.
