Day use only signs posted. Campground across the river is $10 ($5 with interagency pass) and was empty at 8:30pm on a Wednesday.

Report Check-In

3 spots with table, fire ring and a pit toilet (clean with tp). Stayed in space 3 closest to the bridge, some highway noise, but loud river definitely helps. Thought spot 3 was the best, open, fairly level spot for our teardrop. But if you have anything bigger spot 1 is probably the best as it would be hard to turn around past there. Not great for big rigs. No Verizon service. Free 99 tho!

Report Check-In

Open and clean
Lovely spot right on the river

Report Check-In

Good for an overnight but we felt too much like trolls under the bridge to stay here for longer. Free. Our 26 ft motorhome fit in the last spot but maybe walk down and check it out before you drive in if you have a large rig because turnaround would be hard if it's taken.
zero cell reception.

Report Check-In

Free and was open for camping with 3 sites right by Smith river. Also right by hwy 199 so there’s road noise, fortunately not a lot of traffic.

Report Check-In

This location is open again! 7 day limit. 3 sites. 1x + 2 bars on Verizon. Some trash at sites. A really sweet spot for an overnight, with a free pit toilet! It's like winning the camping lottery

Report Check-In

Perfect point. But whit the Covid19 it's close. I'm sleeping 150 ft after.

Report Check-In

exactly as described, but the toilets are open! low on toilet paper so you might want to bring your own.

Report Check-In

Perfect place, free for 7 days, clean toilet, fireplaces, tabeles, fresh clean river.

Report Check-In

Ideal indeed!
7 nights allowed, tents, vehicles. Not for big rigs. Quiet and nice, just by river sand and closer to the 199. Toilets, though closed now coz of the lack of funds.

Report Check-In

Nice spot! Bathroom and beach. If only we came in the summer!

Report Check-In

3 camp sights good river access. Sandy Beach, good for the kiddos! Right across the river from a pay campground. near the road, so you get road noise starting at about 5AM.

Report Check-In

Normal 8-h-rest Area accessible from both sides of the #199. Some grass and a bit dirty restrooms (and two freaky homeless). Okay for 1 night, benches and tables are clean (except the one from the homeless).

No cellphone signal. Electricity in the restrooms.

If you can camp with a tent we don't know - there is no NO-sign.

Report Check-In

Perfect! Free! Beautiful river, our kids enjoyed a lot, nice to swim! Up to 7 days allowed.
