Argentina
Needed a place to stop late after having some tyre work done. This was over the road from the gomeria. Some facilities. Ok if you need to pull in at the end of a long day.
1000 Pesos per person per night in high season. River is shallow with a sandy bottom which is great for bathing.
Quiet riverside campsite. YPF is nearby for WiFi. Small stores close by, open late.

No one was there so we couldn’t pay anything. No hot shower either.

400 pesos by person with hot shower and a river near by. so if you need to sleep in this ruta 25, it is the best spot by far if you don't mind paying 1euro 😝
Report Check-InNice campground next to the Rio Chubut. They are upgrading a lot and make it even better but there is still only one of the ladies shower with hot water. Pensioners get a discount on the cheap regular price. 250 instead of 400 ARS all inclusive.

Report Check-InGood place, near river, b,athrooms with hot water (only woman), electricity. Economcal $250 per person (aprox. u$s1). Not security or administration.
Report Check-InRustic campsite with friendly attendant.
Power only available near the Parillas in the area nearest to the bathrooms, although overhead lights extend along the whole site.
There's no WiFi but YPF is 5 minutes walk up the road and open until 23:00.
Lots of tree shelter from wind and sun along the Rio Chubut shoreline
Only 100 pesos a night per person - no charge for tent.
Hot water was only available in the Women's showers but Alexandra said it was OK for men to use them. I preferred bathing in the river when the site was quiet, which was warmed by the sun.
There's a new-looking concrete footpath extending along the shoreline that has exercise equipment - great for a morning workout on my morning stroll up to the YPF for breakfast and WiFi.
The YPF is one of the best I've visited and cooked good empanadas and Tortas Fritas.
I stayed 7 nights in the end.
Some biting flies at dusk.
A small Kiosko is opposite the entrance and a well-stocked Almacen Toty 100m up the road open until 23:00.
The distant cliffs viewed across the river look like grand castle walls.
Fairly quiet - even at the weekend. Sometimes almost full but mostly only a couple of other campers nearby.
Quiet pueblo and I had no problem leaving my tent and contents unattended.
Warning!!! We decided to stay here simply to use the electricity for the kids to watch some movies. Unfortunately the electricity fried our tv seconds after plugging it in. Other than that, it's a decent little spot near the river. We left and went in front of the park and soccer field up the road instead of paying the couple of dollars since our tv was a goner.
Report Check-InCamped right at the river, very quiet. Toilets open, showers cold, tolerable in terms of cleanliness. There is a YPF petrol station very close with much better toilets. 100 pesos pp per night. Perfect for a stopover
Report Check-InGood place if you don't fancy searching for a wildcampspot. Quit big area, just enter and find a spot. Some spots have light and electricity. Toilets smell and no seats, but look rather clean. Showers seem to be hot! Lady came by beginning of the evening for payment: 100pppn, kids don't pay. In our opinion totally worth it!
Report Check-InWe arrived here in the middle of the week and wete lucky to have the place totally to our self. Toilets were closed but electricity was working.
Perfect quiet place -- perhaps not on weekends ore in high season.
Good wind and sunshield from the big trees at the river.
Camping with Parillas and power outlets. Toilet and shower block was locked. Off season so free.
Report Check-InThe municipal camping is really a good place. Is completely free and with good toilets. we stay here for one day, there are Parrillas and you can stay near the river Chubut. there is plenty of shades and a lot of space also for big rigs. We have a really good night here.
Report Check-InPlace still open. No one there at the "reception".Toilets open and clean. We slept at the bbq down by the riverside. Quiet. Good place on the way to Bariloche or Valdes.
Report Check-Inarrived and it seems quite busy, owners are around. don't think this is a free camp site.
Report Check-InCampground is open. Showers and toilets were locked. Electricity at some camping sites. Had to turn on the circuit breakers.
