We had a pleasant stay from 30 April till 5 May. The place was quite full with long-time campers/pensioners. Unfortunately loud partying folks kept us awake till the early hours of Sunday morning. Clean ablutions and mostly grassed sites.

Report Check-InThis is a lovely caravan park and bathroom is clean. To get to the campsite there is a 1,2km gravel road that's not bad at all. The normal rate is R360. The only health concern is that the bathroom has no ceiling that protections visitors from the asbestos roof sheets. (Hope they will replace the entire asbestos roof)
Report Check-InWe arrived, we were disappointed, the camp is so crowded, the vacationers are sitting on top of each other. There are almost no parking lots with a sea view.
We didn't stay, we moved to a nearby camp Areena Riverside Resort & Private Game Reserve
Grassy. spacious sites with very clean and neat ablutions. Electricity and water on every stand. We stayed on site TN1 and TN2 which are two adjacent stands without border, ideal for a larger group. We paid R680 for the night for 8 pensioners. Real value for money.
Report Check-InLovely Caravan Park. Lots of semi permanent/long stay residents. Great beach for walking and swimming. Great ablutions. Swimming pool. Paid R360 for x2 for a night. Lots of grass to camp on. Sea facing stands have amazing views.
Report Check-Ingreat seaside caravan park, more than adeqate amenities and beautfl views
Report Check-InPet friendly camping with grass sites, water and electricity. Excellent ablutions.
Report Check-InWe enjoyed the ocean view from our stand.
Not enough ablutions and long walks to go there, but clean and enough space and hooks in the showers.
Many stands under construction and maintenance for peak season.
We paid 170 ppn - Prices see picture
There is a plan (see pictures) - but no numbers at sites
Beautiful campsite. Stayed down at the river. Close to nature, interesting birdlife, small buck at night. Can be exposed if the wind blows and is colder due to being close to the water. Lovely walks, paddling on the river and a short MTB trail. Close access to the sea and the river, electricity, hot showers and neat ablutions. Safe and peaceful. Can be busy over long weekends and holidays, more especially during summer months. Very reasonable rates out of season, especially for pensioners (R2 000). Recommended.
Report Check-InSuch a popular and beautiful place - magic! Grass tall trees, forests to walk in and never ending beaches. Stunning campsites, I understand it seems to always be very occupied by caravaners pitching for long periods. So it's not easy to find many sites open - advise pre booking. There is a swimming pool, laundry self help coin operated and washing lines in an enclosure. Stunning views. Very friendly management! Next time soon, I will stay here for at least 10 days, we were going to stay 2 nights but stayed 6.
Report Check-InWe were a little overwhelmed by the number of caravans during off peak season but soon warmed up to the place. There is a heated swimming pool and the ablutions were clean although far from our spot. Beach was awesome. Would probably be a bit overwhelming when in peak season.
Report Check-InWow! Nice location. It was not busy at all when we where there. Good pool. Ablution bit far away.
Report Check-InJam packed caravan resort. Not really lots of overlanders. Because of volume of people the ablutions were filthy mostly. Stands on riverside is nice, thats if you can find one. Lots of grass stands but mostly in direct sunlight with little shade. Book for 5 nights but only stayed 2. Will not visit again.
Report Check-InNice grassy campsite with ocean view, electricity and water one site,
Very clean ablutions (one of the best in Southern Africa)
And a good price 100 pppn
Nice place, but not the kind where you will find much overlanders. But never mind, we had a place for the night and our dog was accepted although there was a "No Dogs" sign at the gate. Friendly staff said it's Ok for one night. The places with the ocean view are great, but 99 percent were occupied already. 100 ZAR pp
Report Check-InNice spaces on the shore side, shadow sides behind.Pensioners pay the half, 50 Zar pp in high seson.
