Surfer community. Good waves. Stay in the camp as there has been theft. Check in with the guy in the red camper with el Torro written on back. He is in charge and will direct you where to camp.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

We also were charged 100 pesos. I have no idea who this guy is because it doesn't seem like private land, but we didn't want trouble over 5 bucks so we paid.
Report Check-InStayed here for two nights. Lovely place with plenty of camp spots with fire pits. Built up rock walls to cover the wind and lots of land art & lots of bones! Coyotes run around at night. There were about 6 other campers there when we arrived. We came from Santa Rosalita but didn’t take the dirt road from there. We drove back on the paved road to the 1 and then continued south about 10km past the next town then turned after a ruin archway on the left hand side of the road. Then continue on a dirt road for about 35 mins. Surfed the break here and fished in the river mouth. First night a guy came by to ask for 100 pesos so we gave it to him but he didn’t come by the second night and when we asked other campers only a few of them had to pay? Not sure what the deal was with that. Camped in our car. 4wd not needed but could be helpful.
Report Check-InGreat spot. I got stuck in the sand driving to the north end of the site. I would recommend having 4wd if traveling north along the beach past the point. It was empty when I was there but I have heard it gets crowded in the winter when the swell is good. Rugged camping.
Report Check-InMystical rocky ruins along beach. Surfer community, not many people, nice folks. Enjoyed the surf, rocks, bone remains on beach and sunsets.
Report Check-InStay in the camp as there has been theft in the area. Check in with the guy in the red camper with el Torro written on back. He is in charge of the camp and will show you where he wants you to camp.
Report Check-InGreat surf spot. Right point with rocky reef. Not for beginners!! Also the access there is absolutely horrible and long. For daylight only. So if you're determined to surf in a remote spot and not alone at all it's awesome.
